Batman: Arkham Asylum

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a third-person, action-adventure game with some stealth involved. The story begins with Batman escorting the Joker to Arkham Asylum, where many of his henchmen as well as other villains are currently cooped-up. But the Joker escapes, and threatens to blow-up Gotham via bombs he's scattered around the city. Without the police able to enter the asylum, Batman must work alone to foil the Joker's plan.

Voiced by the same actors from the Animated Series - Kevin Conroy as Batman, and Mark Hamill - the game's story was also written by Batman writer Paul Dini. It has received high reviews by many gaming magazines and websites, with an average 92% for its superb graphics, innovative idea and great story. Batman: Arkham Asylum even holds a Guinness World Record for Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever. Wow!

While some trophies are fairly easy, the ones related to the Challenge Mode can be quite frustrating. A good portion of the trophies are story-based, and the others require performing specific challenges or collecting things like riddles.

If you begin the game on Hard mode, you will only need to playthrough the game once, provided that you collect the missable trophies. Not particularly time consuming, but requires some serious gaming skills at times.

If you want to acquire the Platinum in the quickest time possible, begin the game on Hard mode. Then just focus on getting through the story, while destroying every Joker's Teeth you come across. At this point, you don't need to worry about finding all the Riddles. You can do that after completing the game.

Check out the trophies Shocking Rescue, Leave No Man Behind, and Party Pooper under our Links tab for advice. These are three missable trophies, which will require you to restart the game if not collected along the way.

Once you've finished the story, and have all the Gadgets to allow you to move freely, you can start collecting all the remaining Riddles. The Riddler's Map will help you find them - but it's still up to you to find all the Joker's Teeth.

After that, it's on to the Challenges. These are not easy. But you've already come this far, so why give up, right? Again, check out our Links tab for tips and strategies.
