Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is a third-person hack and slash action game, based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, and using a cel-shaded artstyle. Players control one of the four Ninja Turtles, each with their own fighting style, while able to interchange ultimate abilities, and form attack combos. Collected Battle Points can be spent on upgrading the characters’ abilities, or purchase items. Only eight months following its release, the game was pulled from digital shelves due to licensing issues.

New York City has been invaded by mutants. Reporter April O’Neil sends messages to the Ninja Turtles of the problems arising throughout the city, so they can foil each of Shredder and Krang’s evil plots.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan received mixed to poor reviews with an average score of 48%, praised for its combat and online co-op, but criticized for lacking local co-op, repetitive gameplay, slow frame rate, and poor mission design.

This Platinum is a little above average due to one online trophy, and the grinding required, though still falls under a 2-star difficulty rating. At least two playthroughs are required, one of which on Hard mode. A chapter select means nothing is missable, but expect to do some backtracking and grinding. There are two online trophies, one for simply playing online, but the other can be tricky without boosting. Also, since the game was pulled from digital shelves in January 2017, finding online players legitimately may be a challenge.

Overall, expect around 25-30 hours for the Platinum.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

The difficulty related trophies do not stack, so you will need to do two full playthroughs, one on either Easy or Normal, and another on Hard mode.

Start by selecting either Easy or Normal, and play through the game. There is a chapter select, so none of the trophies are missable. However, if you wish to avoid a lot of backtracking later, it’s recommended to unlock as many as you can during your first playthrough. Be sure to check out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants in Manhattan trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details. Completing the game on either Easy or Normal will unlock The End? trophy.

Next, let’s get our Hard playthrough out of the way. Here, the enemies deal more damage while your starting health is lower. Also, there is a higher chance for a secret boss to appear, which will unlock the Party Crasher trophy. Completing the game on Hard mode will unlock the Veteran trophy.

With those two playthroughs done, it’s time to begin the grinding. Use the chapter select to go back and mop up the remaining offline trophies you still need. Again, check out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants in Manhattan trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need, and their requirements. Also, keep in mind that whenever working towards any grinding-related trophies, you will need to complete that level in order for your progress to be saved.

At any point, you can head into multiplayer to unlock the two online trophies. For the Nice To Meet You trophy, all you need to do is play online for a few minutes. However, the Sorry Not Sorry trophy can be tricky if not boosted. This requires all four online players to perform a communication action during the snapshot, just as the boss is defeated. This is tricky, because everyone needs to be on-board with this. If you’re having difficulty with this, or even finding online players, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab. Also, it should be noted that the Next Time Take A Cab trophy can be challenging to do in single-player, but much easier with an online co-op partner.

Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers

Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers is a flight combat simulator, and a sequel to the original 2006 Air Conflicts. The game is set during World War II featuring the conflict between the US and Japanese forces, taking place in such events as Pearl Harbour, the Battle of Midway, and Wake Island. The game also includes competitive online multiplayer with up to eight players.

Lucas Stark is a patriotic admiral in the US Navy fighting for the ideals of is country, all the while the war begins to get to him. Meanwhile, Hideaki Hashimoto is an admiral fighting to bring honor to his emperor and country, as well as himself.

Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 64%, praised for its graphics, realism, multiplayer feature, and overall fun gameplay, though criticized for its repetitiveness, soundtrack, controls, and technical issues.

The offline trophies are of average difficulty, and not particularly time consuming. The reason for the 3-star difficulty lies in the six online trophies. With boosting partners, the overall difficulty could be brought down to a 2-star. However, if you are going for the online trophies legitimately, a few will require some good skills, such as coming in first place in a 6-player match. Also, given the age and lack of popularity of the game, finding players may be a challenge in itself.

Expect under 20 hours for the Platinum if boosting, and more if you are going for the online trophies legitimately.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS3.

You’ll need to play through each of the two campaigns. One on the American side to ultimately unlock the American Campaign trophy, and the Japanese side for the Japanese Campaign trophy.

There are a few miscellaneous trophies you can collect along the way, so check out the Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details. However, there is a mission select afterwards if you happen to miss anything.

Pay special attention to the Torpedo Wizard trophy, which is missable. The trophy requires you to hit a manoeuvring ship with a torpedo, which is best doen during the Dangerous Cruisers mission on the American campaign.

Once you’ve completed the two campaigns, use the mission select to mop up any missing offline trophies. Again, check out the Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you’re still missing and their requirements.

After that, it’s time to head online to get those last six online trophies. Some of the more notable ones include winning five multiplayer matches with the IJN team for the IJN Officer trophy, and winning five multiplayer matches with the USN team for the USN Officer trophy, as well as being placed in first in a multiplayer match with at least six players, for the Cracking Good Show trophy. If you’re looking for boosting partners, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

Skylanders SWAP Force Trophy Guide PS3

Skylanders SWAP Force Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A platforming adventure and the third title in the Skylanders franchise that uses action figures which turn into playable characters. The Platinum is more time consuming than difficult, requiring four full playthroughs.

Game Name Difficulty Trophies Developer Country Bronze Silver Gold Online DLC
Skylanders SWAP Force ** 40 Vicarious Visions U.S. 30 4 5 1 0

Skylanders SWAP Force

Skylanders SWAP Force is a platforming adventure, the third main title in the Skylanders series, and a sequel to the 2011 Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Similar to previous installments, players use real-life action figures which are transformed into playable characters through use of the Portal. The game introduces the new Portal of Power which allows for swappable characters, with sixteen new characters that can be separated by their top and bottom, allowing for a total of 256 combinations.

For generations, the SWAP Force protected the volcano which restores the Skylands' magic. However, after being caught in an eruption following a massive battle, the SWAP Force were broken apart and hurled to the Earth. Yet their new ability to swap powers may be the key to saving Skylands.

Skylanders SWAP Force received positive reviews with an average score of 83%, praised for its environment, colorful characters, diverse enemies, and overall fun, while criticized for its camera angles and high-priced figures necessary in unlocking extra content.

Like most titles in the series, the game is not particularly difficult, and is easier depending on how many Skylanders you have. The main reason for the 2-star difficulty rating is for the time involved, as you will need to perform four full playthroughs, one of which on Nightmare difficulty which can be challenging at parts - especially if you are only using the Starter Pack. The online trophy is easy to unlock and does not require any assistance from other players.

Expect roughly around 40 hours for the Platinum.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

ALSO NOTE: You will need a second controller for three trophies.

You will need to perform four full playthroughs on your road to the Platinum.

The first is simply playing through and completing the game in order to unlock Nightmare mode. During your first playthrough, you can play on any mode of your choosing. If you're new to the Skylanders series, you may which to start on Easy or Medium. But keep in mind that you'll later need to play on Nightmare - so if you wish to avoid a shock and do a little preparation, you may want to start on Hard. It's up to you.

During your first playthrough, you will automatically unlock a ton of story-related trophies. There are are few miscellaneous ones you can unlock now, if you wish. Be sure to check out the Skylanders SWAP Force trophy guide links under our Links tab on more details.

Once you've finished your first playthrough, you will have unlocked Nightmare mode. Now, you have three playthroughs left to do. One on Nightmare mode, another on Score mode, and another for Time Attack.

If you wish to progress from easier to more difficult, we recommend doing the Time Attack next. Here, you'll need to speed run through the levels, avoiding combat whenever possible. Earning a 3-star rating in all 17 Time Attack levels will net you four trophies, including the Fastest One Around trophy.

Next are the Score mode levels, where you'll need to rack up your score by avoiding taking hits. Having a friend to play with will make this quite easy. Completing all 17 Score mode levels will unlock another four trophies, including the Winning Streak trophy.

Finally, it's time for your Nightmare mode playthrough. With all your experience in the game up to this point, Nightmare mode shouldn't prove to be too difficult, with only a few tricky areas here and there. Also, the difficulty-related trophies are stackable, so if you didn't play on Hard earlier, you'll unlock that trophy after completing Nightmare mode, along with the Knights Of Nightmares trophy.

Finally, if you happened to miss anything, now's the time to mop-up. Again, check out the Skylanders SWAP Force trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you may still be missing and their requirements.

Strider Trophy Guide

Strider

Strider is a side-scrolling platforming hack and slash action game, and a reboot of the original 1989 title. The player-character Hiryu battles enemies by main plasma weapon, the Cypher. Players are free to explore each environment in search of other weapons, items, and upgrades.

Taking place in the fictional metropolis of Kazakh City, the Strider organization has sent out their deadliest assassin, Hiryu against the evil Grandmaster Meio.

Strider received positive reviews with an average score of 77%, praised for remaining faithful to the original while updating the visuals, and its overall fun, while criticized by some for repetitive gameplay.

The game requires at least two playthroughs, one on Normal and another on Hard mode difficulty. There is also a trophy required for making a speed-run in under four hours, as well as multiple collectibles to find. While the game is quite short, it can be tricky and even frustrating at times, particularly on Hard mode.

About 10-15 hours are required for the Platinum, depending on your skills and how many playthroughs are done.

If you wish to get the Platinum in only two playthroughs, then we recommend starting your first run on Hard mode, in order to unlock the Special Class-A trophy. The enemies have more health, and you take more damage. Hard mode may seem quite difficult at first, but gets easier once you start getting upgrades, and take your time.

During your first playthrough, you should also be looking for all the collectibles. This includes all 7 energy upgrades for the You've Got The Power trophy, all 11 fallen Striders for the Remember The Fallen trophy, all 6 health upgrades for the Health Nut trophy, all 4 Kunai upgrades for the Cuts Like A Knife trophy, and all 10 large canisters for the Collector Of Collecting trophy.

Also, during this playthrough, you'll want to go for the missable trophies, which include completing the Balrog without falling for the Didn't Miss A Beat trophy, defeating 20 enemies using a panther for the Eye Of The Tiger trophy, defeating 20 consecutive enemies without getting hit for the Untouchable trophy, defeating 10 enemies using reflect for the I'm Rubber You're Glue trophy, and maxing out the hit meter 25 times for the Meet Cypher's Edge trophy. Be sure to check out the Strider trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details.

If you can get all those missables, as well as find all the collectibles, then with the story-related trophies included, you should have nearly all the trophies by the time you finish your playthrough on Hard mode.

Finally, for your second playthrough, select Normal difficulty, which you'll still need to complete for the Class-A Ninja trophy, since the difficulty-related trophies don't stack. Here is where you'll need to complete the game in under 4 hours for the Speed Demon trophy. Avoid attacking enemies whenever you can, and move quicker by sliding, which can later be chained with catapult. Pausing the game, or even dying, does not count towards the timer, so feel free to pause in order to check the map, or kill yourself if you think you're taking too much time on a particular stage.

After your speed-run, and if you've gotten all the other trophies on your first playthrough, you should have the Platinum after completing your second playthrough.

Psycho Break Trophy Guide

Psycho Break Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A third-person survival horror directed by the creator of the Resident Evil series. The game requires at least 3 playthroughs, one of which on the hardest difficulty mode.

Psycho Break *** 42 Tango Gameworks Japan 28 9 4 0 30

Psycho Break

Psycho Break, known as The Evil Within outside Japan, is a third-person survival horror, directed by Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil series. Players battle nightmarish creatures and bosses with guns and melee weapons, while using stealth and avoiding traps, while making use of the environment in order to survive.

Sebastian Castellanos is a police detective who, along with his partner and a junior detective, arrive at the Beacon Mental Hospital to investigate a mass murder. Soon after their visit however, Sebastian is separated from his colleagues and thrown into a nightmare world.

Psycho Break received positive reviews with an average score of 76%, praised for its story, gameplay, environment, and creepy horror aspects, while the story was criticized by others, as well as a lack in character development.

The 3-star difficulty rating is more for the skill involved, rather than time. While a minimum of 3 playthroughs is required for the Platinum, one of these must be on Akuma difficulty, a mode which features one-hit kills with more enemies. The playthrough on Akuma difficulty, while still doable for any average player, can be incredibly challenging and frustrating, and the main reason for the 3-star difficulty.

Expect anywhere between 40-55 hours for the Platinum, heavily dependent on your skills, as well as how many playthroughs you do.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS3. However, the Western version The Evil Within have separate lists between the PS4 and PS3.

In order to get the Platinum in the least number of playthroughs possible, you'll want to start your first playthrough on Survival difficulty, which will unlock both the First Step Into Darkness and Another Day On The Job trophies. Here, you'll want to complete the game without using any green gel to perform upgrades, in order to unlock the It Is What It Is trophy. You'll also want to follow one of the collectible guides under our Links tab to find all the audio tapes, map fragments, newspapers, personal documents, missing persons posters, and notes, for the Every Nook And Cranny trophy, as well as all 45 keys to unlock their respective lockers for the Master Of Unlocking trophy.

Also, there are a number of kill-related trophies you should aim for during your first playthrough, as well. This includes reaching 400 kills for the One Man Army trophy, as well as a few others for killing enemies with torches, melee attacks, etc. However, since you're not upgrading your player-character, some of these may be difficult at this time and you may wish to work on these during a mop-up stage later. Plus, there is a chapter-select available after completing the game.

Lastly, there are some chapter-specific trophies as well, one for each of the chapters between 2 and 8, as well as chapters 10, 12, and 14. Check out the Evil Within trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details on these. If you miss any of these, remember that there will be a chapter select later.

Once you've unlocked the It Is What It Is trophy, it's time to use Chapter Select to farm for Green Gel to fully upgrade your player-character. The quickest way for this is to farm on Chapter 3: Claws of the Horde on Casual mode. Once you've fully upgraded all attributes, you'll unlock the Hardbody trophy, and be ready for the next step.

Select New Game+ on Casual difficulty, and clear the game in under 5 hours for The Quick And The Dead trophy. Since you've already cleared the game on Survival difficulty, you'll now have both a Rocket Launcher and Machine Gun at your disposal, which makes those boss fights much faster. Keep in mind that while pausing the game will not add to your time, you will lose time from dying, reloading checkpoints, and watching cutscenes.

With that done, it's time to mop up all the miscellaneous trophies with the exception of Master Of Horror and You Asked For It trophies. With Sebastian now fully upgraded, using the Chapter Select and mopping up what's left shouldn't be too much of a problem. Check out the Evil Within trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

Finally, it's time for one last playthrough, this time on Akuma difficulty, the most challenging mode in the game. This must be done on a new game, and NOT a New Game+. Not only is there less ammo in the game, and more enemies, but your player-character will die after one hit. This is no easy task, but as long as you remain patient and determined, any average player can complete it. Check out the some of the tips under our Links tab if you need extra assistance. Clearing the game on Akuma difficulty will unlock both the You Asked For It and the Master Of Horror trophies.

If you've completed everything else by this point, then you should also unlock your hard-earned Platinum. Congratulations!
