Chaos on Deponia
Chaos on Deponia is a point-and-click adventure, and a sequel to the 2012 Deponia. Like its predecessor, players control the protagonist Rufus, solving puzzles by collecting objects and using them or combining them to interact with machines, in order to progress through the story.
Following the events of the previous game, Rufus is still seeks to get off the landfill-planet called Deponia and head to the flying city of Elysium. Having changed his ways, he must also save his love interest Goal from a problem that he created.
Chaos on Deponia received generally positive reviews with an average score of 75%, praised for its lively visuals and overall fun, though both criticized for some faults in the storyline and voice acting.
Since the game is a point-and-click adventure, there is no real skill required except an ability to solve puzzles. Moreover, if you follow one of the walkthroughs under our Links tab, you can easily breeze through the game in just a few hours and unlock the Platinum by the end of your playthrough, hence the 1-star level of difficulty.
If using a walkthrough, the Platinum can be obtained in just 3 or 4 hours.
There is no chapter select, so all those missable trophies should be collected in one playthrough.
If you are in a rush for that Platinum, be sure to follow one of the walkthroughs under our Links tab. And of course, check out the Chaos on Deponia trophy guide links as well, for more specific details on each trophy.
The Pin-Up Goal and Cheater trophies cannot be unlocked on the same save file. This means you will need to make a backup save, unlock one trophy, then reload to obtain the other trophy.
For the Animal Lover trophy, you will need to perform three different actions. The first is in the Tavern in Act 2, the second is in Doc’s Workshop in Act 2, and the third is in the Rebel Hideout in Act 3. Again, check out the Chaos on Deponia trophy guide links under the Links tab for more specifics. However, if you are following one of the walkthroughs, then these three actions will be noted during the playthrough.
