Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet

Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet combines 2D shooter action with aspects from fighting games, and is part of the Touhou series. Players take on the roles of the Touhou characters and fight opponents in one-on-one battles by firing bullets from a variety of weapons, while allowing the use of super attacks. A Story mode tells the tale of each of the individual characters. The game also includes online battles.

The game received rather poor reviews with an average score of ..., praised by some for its innovative idea and unique gameplay, though criticized for its lack of challenge in story mode, controls, and uninspiring story.

With the exception of the Boss mode trophies, which some can be a little tricky and require practice, the majority of the trophies for Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet are reasonably easy for any average gamer. While there are no online trophies to worry about, there are a few which require beating a human player; this can either be done online with a boosting partner, or offline with a second controller.

Expect roughly 15-20 hours of gameplay for the Platinum, depending on your skills.

If you want a few easy trophies from the start, and if you have a second controller, you can head into Player Match and simply win 10 matches, which will unlock the First Player Match trophy for winning once, The Entrance To The Path Of Danmaku Play trophy for winning three, and The Path Of Danmaku Play Is Endless trophy for winning 10 matches. If you don't have a second controller, you'll need to head online. Check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

Next, are both the Story and Arcade mode related trophies. It's a good idea to do these at the same time. Select one character and go through the story until you've unlocked the trophy. Then play the Arcade mode with that same character to obtain its respective trophy. Then rinse and repeat with the next character. This way, you'll be used to a particular character's controls and fighting style when you go into Arcade. After completing all the Story and Arcade modes with each character, you should have the majority of the trophies.

The last step is Boss mode, where you'll have to fight with all nine characters. Unlike Story and even Arcade mode, the Boss mode is actually rather tricky and will require practice to learn the enemy's patterns, some skill, and patience.

After that, simply mop up any of the few random trophies which you may not have unlocked naturally throughout your playthrough. Check out the Touhou Genso Rondo trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you need and their requirements.
