F.E.A.R. 3

F.E.A.R. 3 is a first-person shooter horror, the third installment in the F.E.A.R. series, but the second title to have trophy support. The game includes offline multiplayer in a co-op system, in which teammates can revive one another, as well as online multiplayer which includes fighting enemy waves, a round-based survival mode, and competitive mode.

Taking place nine months following the events of the prequels, the Point Man is freed from an interrogation at an asylum in Central America by Paxton Fettel. The two work together to escape while being hunted by a monster known as "the Creep."

F.E.A.R. 3 received generally positive reviews, with an average score of 75%, praised for its game mechanics and added co-op play, but criticized for its lack of visuals and scares.

The 3-star rating is only for players who don't have a second player or a boosting partner to play with. Many trophies can be earned by plugging in a second controller, but it's far easier if someone is using it. With a partner, this difficulty score could be brought down to a high 2-star.

As you can tell by our rating system, the trophies on F.E.A.R. 3 are far easier than those on its prequel. The game requires at least two full playthroughs, one of which on Insane mode, with a few collectibles and various challenges and kill-related achievements.

Overall, depending on whether your second controller is sitting on the floor or in another player's hands, expect to spend between 30 to 60 hours on the Platinum.

Essentially, you'll need to play through the story twice. Once on any difficulty level to unlock Insane mode, then again on insane mode. However, it's possible to simply play through on Insane mode if you have an online partner who's already unlocked it.

During your playthrough, there are a number of challenges you can work towards, as well as finding the Alma Doll on each mission. Check out the FEAR 3 trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details to whichever trophies you're gunning for. Though once you've completed your two playthroughs, you can spend some time mopping-up on whatever you're missing.

Last, there will be the trophies related to Contractions, and Soul King. Each of these can be earned on your own with a second controller, but as we stated earlier, it's far easier if you have someone to play with.
