Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 is a sequel to the 2008 Far Cry 2. The game is a first-person shooter in an open world, with RPG elements such as gaining experience points to purchase and improve skills. In addition to the main story, Far Cry 3 also includes a number of side-quests, and a co-op feature, which can be played either online or offline.

You play as Jason Brody on vacation with friends. During a skydiving trip, the vacationers land on an island occupied with pirates, and are kidnapped. Jason manages to break free, and must figure out a way to rescue his friends and get safely off the island.

The game received overall high praise, with an average score of 91% for its interesting and unpredictable story, variety of weapons and overall fun gameplay.

Except for one missable trophy, you're free to play the game from beginning to end, after which opens a free roam where you can easily mop-up anything you've missed. There are also 6 co-op trophies to acquire, which can either be done online or offline with a friend.

Overall, only an average amount of gaming skills are required, and about 20 hours of your time.

Since there are no trophies related to the difficulty mode, you can select Easy and start up your game. For the most part, you can play from beginning to end without worry - except for one missable trophy: Unheard, which requires you to liberate an outpost without triggering the alarm. There are 34 outposts, so just make sure you managed to disable the alarms with with at least one of them. At the end of the game, if you've liberated all the outposts and triggered their alarms, you'll need to restart a new game.

Also, though not missable, you may want to get Never Saw It Coming, Love The Boom, and Toxophilite during the early stages of the main story, as they'll be easier this way. Check out the Far Cry 3 trophy guide links under our Links tab for further details.

Once you've finished the main story, you're free to roam the island and mop-up anything you've missed. Lastly, there are 6 co-op trophies, each corresponding to a particular map. These trophies can be obtained either online, or offline in split-screen.
