Knights Contract

Knights Contract is a third-person hack-and-slash action adventure in a dark fantasy setting. Characters are loosely based on those in the classic Faust German legend.

Taking place during Europe's Middle Ages, Heinrich Hofmann is a witch-executioner who has been cursed with immortality. along with Gretchen, a reincarnated witch, the two must fight off a horde of monsters that have been unleashed by Dr. Faust.

Knights Contract received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 64%, praised for its premise and story, but criticized for several technicalities, such as the quick-time events and camera angles.

The game is not overly time consuming, but will require some serious skills. At least three full playthroughs are required, each on a higher difficulty mode, as well as earning an S-Rank in each episode, and finding collectibles. Completing the game on its hardest difficulty setting, as well as some of the QTE events and getting certain S-Ranks, is what pushes this Platinum's difficulty rating up to a 3-star.

The Platinum could take roughly 30 hours of gameplay, through this heavily depends on your skills.

Unless you're not confident in your gaming skills, there's no reason to play the game on Page (easy) mode in regards to working towards the Platinum. We recommend beginning your playthrough on Squire (medium) difficulty, which is the easiest mode that you can work on earning S-ranks.

During your playthrough on Squire, you'll want to find the collectibles along the way, so check out one of the guides under our Links tab. Also, you can work towards getting S-ranks in each episode. If you fail to do so, fear not. There is an Episode Select after beating the game. Simply go back and try again, until you've unlock the Spirit Cannon, which in turn will unlock The Witch's Ultimate Weapon trophy.

Completing the game on Squire will also unlock the Hexen Knight (hard) mode. So, your next step is to go through and beat the game again, this time on Hexen.

Finally, after beating the game on Hexen, you'll unlock Witchslayer (hardest) mode. Hopefully by now, you should be fully upgraded and very familiar with the game, enough that performing your playthrough on Witchslayer shouldn't be too difficult.

Lastly, if there are any trophies you still need to mop-up, you can use the Episode Select to do so, until you've got a shiny new Platinum in your collection.

Clash of the Titans Trophy Guide

Clash of the Titans Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A third-person action based on the 2010 remake film of the same name. The game possesses some challenging trophies, and requires some stages to be replayed multiple times.

Clash of the Titans

Based on the 2010 remake of the film Clash of the Titans, the game is a third-person action which follows the same storyline as the film. Gameplay is hack-and-slash, in a similar style to the God of War series, in which players take the role of Perseus who must find a way to make peace with the Greek gods and destroy the Kraken that has been set loose against the mortals.

The game received rather negative reviews, with an average score of 43% for its predictability and repetitive gameplay.

While there are no online trophies to worry about, some of the trophies can be quite challenging. You will need to replay stages multiple times in order to acquire "S" ranks, based on your timing and score. You will also need to collect 91 possible weapons, and upgrade them all.

The 3-star rating is based mainly on overall difficulty and frustration, but also time consumption. Depending on your skills, expect to spend anywhere between 60-80 hours acquiring the Platinum.

You'll first want to play the game from beginning to end, unlocking both story-based and other random trophies along the way. You'll also find weapons, which can later be upgraded. At the end of each quest, you'll receive a rank based on your score in that mission, the highest being "S" rank.

Once you've completed the game, you will need to replay these missions until you've earned an S rank for each one. This is where the difficulty and frustration comes in. If you've found weapons that you like to use, upgrade these so that earning that S rank will be easier.

Once you've earned an S rank for each mission, you will need to mop-up by collecting all the remaining sub-weapons, and upgrading them all. Check out the Clash of the Titans trophy guide links and walkthroughs under our Links tab for further details about sub-weapons and any other trophies you may be missing.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom is an adventure platformer with puzzle elements. Players control the character Majin, while Teotle is an AI which can be given commands when solving puzzles or in combat.

Set in a kingdom which had once been at peace, is now a dangerous world after the coming of a strange Darkness. Tepeu is a young thief, who ventures out to find the mythical Majin and restore the kingdom to its prosperous state.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom received generally positive reviews, with an average score of 73%, praised for its clever puzzles and overall fun, though criticized for its poor voice acting and simplistic combat.

While it's no Hannah Montana or Megamind, this game is still quick and easy enough to warrant a 1-star rating. Aside from figuring out some puzzles, which are simple enough if you have a walkthrough, you'll mainly be finding collectibles and grinding to level up your character. The platinum can easily be unlocked in one playthrough, with some possible mopping-up afterwards.

Expect roughly around 15 hours to complete.

For the most part, you can play from beginning to end, unlocking trophies as you go. There's a save point before the final battle, where you can return after completing the game and mop-up what you're missing.

If you want to make things quicker, however, then we recommend searching out for the collectibles during your game progress. Most of them you can grab as you move through the game, with a few exceptions where you'll need to backtrack. This is easy enough to do without a guide.

Also, while many of the trophies will unlock naturally, you'll need to pay special attention to Trap Master, since there are only a few areas where you can grind for the 30 enemy defeats. Check out the Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details. Also, the Battle Master trophy is another which you'll need to actively seek out to unlock, so check up on that one as well.

By the time you complete the game, the one trophy you'll most likely still need is Brave One, which involves fully maxing out Tepeu's level, if you haven't been actively grinding for this one before the final boss. If that's the case, simply load up the save before the final dungeon, then check out the video by hayabusaDGO under our Links tab which demonstrates the Battle Master trophy. You can easily grind the respawning enemies in this same area, until Tepeu is fully maxed out and you've unlocked your final trophy.
