Heavy Fire: Afghanistan

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan is an on-rails arcade shooter, similar to such titles as Dead Space: Extraction or House of the Dead. Up to four players can select to use either the DualShock 3 or Move controller to control the cross-hair, while also taking cover from enemy fire.

The story, told through narration, is about the player-character who, since he was a boy, dreamed of joining the marines. Now a young man, he's seeing that dream realized as he arrives in Afghanistan to take out terrorists.

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan received poor reviews, with an average score of 42%, criticized for the shortness of the game, terrible sound effects and voice acting, as well as its racism and sensationalizing war.

Even with limited skills at on-rails first person shooters, this game is both quite short and fairly easy - arguably easier than Terminator: Salvation. Two playthroughs are needed, once on Rookie and once on Veteran mode - though each should take less than three hours to complete. Some possible mopping-up afterwards, but no online trophies to worry about.

In total, you could probably unlock this Platinum in about five or six hours.

In order to unlock Veteran mode, you'll need to complete the game on Rookie. As you play, you'll be unlocking several story-related trophies. To avoid much mopping-up, you'll want to try and work towards getting 300 headshots for the Head hunter trophy, get 10 chain kills for Chain C, as well as finishing a mission with an accuracy of at least 50% or higher for the Pinpoint Accurate trophy. Trophies associated with the number of kills and bullets used will come naturally during your first playthrough.

Once that's finished, you can start on Veteran mode. The amount of damage both you and the enemies take doesn't change. The only difference is the NPCs are more aggressive, with better aim and taking quicker shots. Take advantage of any cover you see, and try to polish off those headshots if you haven't yet done so.

After that, it should just be a matter of mopping-up anything you're still missing.
