Madagascar Kartz

Madagascar Kartz is a kart racing game based on the Madagascar animated film series by DreamWorks. Players select playable characters from the films, including Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, and perform stunts and use power-ups while racing to the finish line. The game includes Championship mode in which players must come in first to unlock higher speed classes, as well as Quick Race, Time Trial, and Checkpoint Race.

Madagascar Kartz received mainly negative reviews, with an average score of 61%, criticized for its ineffective weapons and power-ups, and for being an overall dull version of Mario Kart.

Despite being a 1-star difficulty, the game is still no walk in the park. Some of the checkpoint races can be frustrating, as well as a few time trials. Still, so long as you have the patience to redo races until you come in first, the platinum can be earned in around 5-8 hours, depending on your skills.

NOTE: You will need a second controller, as well as a second player to assist you with one trophy.

You'll probably first want to begin with the Championship related trophies. You'll start with three 50CC championships, and will need to come in overall first place in each to unlock the 100CC, 150CC, and finally the 200CC championships. Generally, so long as you're in first place in the first two races, then come in second or third in the final, you should be safe with achieving an overall first place.

Once those are done, you can move onto the Time Trials. There are 9 time trial related trophies to unlock. Simply check out the Madagascar Kartz trophy guide links under our Links tab to see the requirements for each.

Next, there are four trophies you can knock out in the Move It Move It mode. Each of these trophies are single player, for winning a 50CC, 100CC, 150CC, and 200CC race respectively.

After that, you can head into the Checkpoint Race and collect 40 hourglasses. Here, it should be noted that for the Multiplayer Checkpoint Master trophy, you will need a second controller and a second player to help you, as both you and your partner will each need to collect 40 hourglasses.

Finally, simply mop-up any last few stunt-related or other trophies you may still need.
