Need for Speed: Shift
Need for Speed: Shift is a racing game, and the thirteenth installment in the Need for Speed franchise. The game focuses more on simulation racing, rather than the arcade racing of previous titles, with more realistic car handling. Rather than a story, players compete in the NFS Live World Series, earning money and experience points in the form of stars by playing and unlocking new races. The game includes over 60 cars, which can be modified.
Need for Speed: Shift received positive reviews, with an average score of 84%, praised for its presentation, sound effects, and replay value filled with a lot of variety.
The only real challenge is mastering the controls and those tight corners. Otherwise, the majority of the trophies are for completing the career and a whole lot of grinding afterwards. No online trophies to worry about.
Should take between 30-40 hours of gameplay, depending on your racing skills.
Your first trophy will be Trial By Fire, for doing a practice lap in a BMW. Once that's finished, you can begin the Career. From there, simply play through the career, completing all the events and climbing tiers while earning experience points.
Once that's finished, you'll want to work towards getting the 20 epic badges. There are 27 categories, which allows you some leeway in avoiding challenges you think are a pain. This may include the online badges which, unless you have a boosting partner, can be difficult as the online community is rather dead.
After you've unlocked all the badge-related trophies, you can start grinding for experience to level up for the Driving Legend trophy, which requires Level 50.
