SingStar

SingStar is a karaoke-style game, which first made its debut on the PlayStation 2. Players sing into a microphone to the music video on the screen, either solo, in a duet, or competitively, while attempting to match the correct pitch and lyrics to score points. The game includes 30 songs on disc, with the ability to download songs from the online SingStore. An online feature allows players to compete online, as well as upload and rate recorded songs and videos. The online servers were shut down on October 17, 2014.

SingStar received generally favorable reviews, with an average score of 84%, praised for its presentation and overall lasting appeal and fun.

This was originally a difficult platinum to begin with. However, the online servers were closed on October 17, 2014. SingStar has 13 online trophies, which can no longer be unlocked, marking the Platinum for this game Not Obtainable.

The online servers were closed on October 17, 2014, which means the Platinum for this game is Not Obtainable, as well as the 13 online trophies. However, there are still 21 offline trophies that can be unlocked, so if you're interested, then read on.

There are three simple trophies you can collect from the start. By changing the date on your PlayStation 3 to December 25 and loading up the game, you can unlock the Happy Holliday! trophy. Also, change the date to May 21, and you'll unlock the Happy SingStar Day! trophy. Finally, change the wallpaper five times, and you'll get the Interior Decorator trophy.

You'll unlock the SingStarter trophy immediately after singing your first song. If you have a camera, such as the PlayStation Eye, record your song and unlock the Mirror Image trophy.

Finally, play a song but don't sing. With a low score, you'll unlock the At Least You Tried trophy.

After that, it's a matter of singing through the songs and unlocking trophies along the way. After each song, you'll be able to save the audio, video, and up to 10 pictures. Continue doing this with each song, and you'll unlock the Media Mogul trophy after having saved 200 forms of media.

Unfortunately, with the online servers down, this is as far as you'll be able to go.

Everybody Dance Trophy Guide

Everybody Dance

Everybody Dance - known as DanceStar Party in Europe - is a competitive dance game which utilizes the PlayStation Move controller. Possessing 40 popular tracks, players can either dance solo or compete/co-op with friends in performing dance routines. The game includes different modes of difficulty, as well as the ability to record and create videos of your dancing moves, which can be uploaded either to an online community or directly to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Overall, the game received an average score of 66% from various online magazines, praised for its originality and presentation, but criticized for its mechanics.

Everybody Dance originally had been a 2-star rating. Unfortunately in February 2016, SCEA decided to close the online servers for all the Everybody Dance games in the series. This title includes 3 online trophies which can no longer be unlocked. As a result, the Platinum for Everybody Dance has become Not Obtainable.

Since the servers were closed in February 2016, the three online trophies - as well as the Platinum - have become Not Obtainable. However, there are still 30 offline trophies that can be unlocked, so if you're interested, then read on.

This isn't one of those games which really requires a roadmap. Just go through the game, dancing to all the songs, and aim for a 5 star score.

You can use the mic on your PS Eye to get the Pitch Perfect trophy, which requires getting a flawless singing rating in 10 performances. However, if you happen to have a microphone lying around, perhaps from having played the Rock Band games, then it's recommended.

The Self Improvement trophy requires you to burn at least 200 calories with dancing each week for a month. If this is difficult due to your schedule, then you can always mess around with the date settings on your PlayStation.

Unfortunately, as it seems to be the case, dancing games on the PlayStation 3 lack popularity. As a result, we haven't been able to find a single trophy guide. Though take our word on the fact that this game doesn't require one, as you're mainly dancing to routines and aiming for 5 star ratings. Here are a few links which you may find useful however, and check out the Advice tab for a few tips.

EyePet and Friends

EyePet & Friends is a sequel to the 2009 EyePet, which uses the PlayStation Move controller and Eye Toy to simulate a virtual pet through augmented reality.

The furry creature is back, and this time he's brought a friend. Similar to its prequel, players can now take care of and play with their virtual pet, along with a partner. Pets can be customized with outfits, while their fur can alter in color and patterns, while being washed, petted, or participate in a number of games and challenges, both single and two-player.

EyePet & Friends received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 64%, praised for its vast amount of customization and overall fun for children, but criticized for long loading times and somewhat limited interaction.

If you've played the original EyePet, then you'll be happy to know that this sequel is even easier. The challenges aren't quite as tricky, there's no reports to make, and overall shouldn't take you more than 8 hours to complete.

NOTE: You will need 2 Move controllers to acquire the Platinum.

As we mentioned earlier, you will need 2 Move controllers for the platinum. However, for the majority of the game, you can play single-player. Start by selecting 2-players and watch the pet be hatched, which will net you both Brave New and Twins trophies. From here, return to the title screen and start a single player game, simply to make life easier.

You can easily unlock several miscellaneous trophies by heading into the Creativity Centre, Soft Play, and Pet Care to acquire the Looking Good, Engineer, Crafty, Customiser, Building Blocks, Pet The Builder, Trainer, Spit And Polish, Full To The Brim, Check Up, and the Pet Whisperer trophies. Check out the EyePet and Friends trophy guide links under our Links tab for further details about these.

You will also need to purchase all the items and outfits in the game for the Shopaholic and Craft Box Complete trophies, for which you will need over 60,000 tokens. The quickest way to farm for tokes is in the Toy Factory in Creative Centre. Simply select to build a UFO, draw a line and hit the 'Auto Complete/Create', and you will earn 200 tokens. Rinse and repeat, until you get enough to purchase all the items.

Last, you'll have the Toy Box Challenges to complete. The majority of these are easier than on the original EyePet. For the Contender trophy, simply leave a second Move controller aside and win each challenge against your 'partner.'

EyePet

EyePet is a "game" which uses augmented reality through the PlayStation Eye and Move to allow the player to look after and play with a monkey-like gremlin creature. Players can interact with the pet, such as rubbing its tummy, tossing a ball and watch it jump out of the way, teach it songs by singing into the Eye's microphone, teach it drawings by holding up a picture to the camera, as well as use virtual objects such as a trampoline and bubble machine. The pet can also be customized by changing its color of fur or dressing it in costumes.

The game received very mixed reviews, with an average score of 74%, praised for its originality and ability to demonstrate what the Eye Toy and Move is capable of, and while some online magazines stated EyePet ran smoothly, others claimed it possessed awkward game mechanics.

EyePet was first released in October 2009, and originally received a 1-star difficulty for its easy and quick Platinum. The game included one online trophy, Shopaholic, for downloading a free item from the EyePet Store. Unfortunately, the online servers were shut down March 29, 2018. This means the Shopaholic trophy can no longer be unlocked. Therefore, the Platinum for EyePet has become Not Obtainable.

Since the online servers were closed on March 29, 2018, a single online trophy - and therefore, the Platinum - has become Not Obtainable. However, there are still 33 offline trophies that can be unlocked. So if you're interested, then read on:

Each time you start the game, you will need to feed and wash your pet, then perform a Pet Report. You'll need to do this twenty times (20 days), during which, you can aim for the Speed Wash trophy, which requires you to wash your pet in under 60 seconds.

Afterwards, there are the fifteen set of challenges, one for each day. First work towards completing them for each day's trophy, then when all 15 are finished, you can go back and attempt to get a gold on each one.

Aside from the Pet Reports and Challenges, there are a number of miscellaneous trophies which you can earn at any time. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page for further details.

Also, keep in mind that you needn't actually wait for the next day to perform any Pet Reports or Challenges. Simply go into the Settings of your PlayStation 3, and change the date. This is especially useful for the Best Friends trophy, in which you need to stroke your pet for 30 seconds for 5 days in a row.
