Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is a remake of the original Senran Kabura Burst first released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2012. The game has been revamped in HD with trophy support, and redone as a third-person action game, rather than a 2D side-scroller. The game follows two separate storylines, one for each ninja Academy, with five playable characters in each. Characters have a range of different attacks, as well as special attacks, that can be unlocked as they level-up.

Welcome to the Hanzo Academy, where Asuka, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyu, and Hibari are high school girls secretly trained in the art of ninjitsu. Their training is suddenly put to the test when they are challenged by rival ninja students belonging to the Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy.

The original Senran Kagura Burst received mixed reviews with an average score of 65%, praised for its fun characters, story, and combat system, though criticized by some for its repetitive gameplay, and viewed as sexist by some Western reviewers.

Like most games in the Senran Kagura series, Burst Re:Newal is an easy Platinum to obtain. The only reason for the 2-star difficult is for the time involved. There are two playthroughs required, one for each of the two Academy storylines, some collectable related trophies, and a number of simple, miscellaneous challenges to complete. For the most part, the game can be played on its easiest level setting. Also, due to the chapter select, there are no missable trophies to worry about.

If you are not text-skipping, the Platinum can be unlocked in 20-25 hours of gameplay.

From the start, you have the option of playing either the Hanzo Academy or Hebijo Academy storyline. It doesn’t matter which you chose in regards to the Platinum, but if you wish to play in order that the original game intended, than start with the Hanzo Academy.

At some point, you will need to play a 2-star mission for the Explosive Ninja trophy, and a 3-star mission for the Top Ninja trophy. These can be done later after your characters have leveled up, in which case you can play all missions on the 1-star, which is the easiest setting.

As you play through, be on the lookout for secret documents, to which there is normally one in each mission. If you miss any, don’t fret. You can use the chapter select later to go back and nab any secret documents you missed. Each mission will also tell you how many you are still missing.

Also, to avoid future grinding, work towards unlocking the Yin Master trophy by using your character in Frantic mode, and the Yang Master trophy for using the Shinobi transformation, as you play through the story. On a side note, if you face any missions that are a bit tough, feel free to replay previous missions with that character to level her up, before trying again.

Once you’ve completed both the Hanzo Academy and Hebijo Academy story playthroughs, it’s time to move onto the Free Missions, which should all be unlocked after finishing the two major storylines. These are separate, shorter missions each focusing on a specific character.

With that finished, you should have a good chunk of the trophies unlocked. Now, it’s simply a matter of collecting all the miscellaneous ones you’re still missing. This may include finding the last of the secret documents for the One Who Knows The Truth trophy, reaching level 50 with a character for the Flawless trophy, or various activities involving the change-room. Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash Trophy Guide

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A third-person shooter and part of the Senran Kagura series, where the characters use water pistols for weapons. The Platinum is quite easy, though requires a lot of time and grinding.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is a third-person shooter and part of the Senran Kagura series, with a storyline that takes place following the events of Estival Versus. Players take part in a water gun tournament, running about in an arena to blast their opponents away. Tournaments can either be in teams of 5, or player-vs-player. The game allows for the use of a variety of water guns ranging from rapid-fire to sniper, all of which can be upgraded. Players can also earn and use special card abilities which enhance their weapons, skills, or deal damage to a number of players at once. The game also includes online multiplayer.

The shinobi members of each of the ninja schools have received an invitation to take part in the Peach Beach Splash water gun tournament, a tradition that has existed since ancient times. Though instructed they are forbidden from using their ninja abilities, the winning team will receive any wish they desire as their reward. However, as the shinobi warriors take part in the water gun games, it is soon revealed that not everything about this ancient ninja tournament is as it seems.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash received fairly positive reviews with an average score of 74%, praised for its fast-pace, amount of available content, and character customization, though criticized by some for lacking the story depth from previous titles in the series.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is an easy game and an easy Platinum. The only reason for the 2-star difficulty is for the time required, as you'll need to perform a vast amount of tedious grinding towards the end for a few miscellaneous trophies.

Expect roughly 30 hours for the Platinum.

You'll first begin by going through the tutorial, which not only teaches you the mechanics of the game, but also unlocks the Welcome To Peach Beach Splash trophy.

After this, it's time to work your way through the story, mission by mission. There are four sets to the story, one for each of the four shinobi schools. It's completely up to you which school to start with first, as you'll need to complete all of them on your road to the Platinum.

During this step, you'll want to select a character to your liking which you'll work towards reaching their Max level, as well as whichever water gun you feel most comfortable with. Also, as far as the Platinum is concerned, it doesn't matter which level of difficulty you play on, though keep in mind that more rewards are given on the harder levels. Also, if you have any trouble on any levels, feel free to replay previous missions in order to upgrade your character and weapon of choice before trying again.

Once you've finished four of the main story missions, you should have unlocked a good chunk of the trophies. Now, it's time to start the V-Road Challenges. These are set up like tournaments, and can be significantly more difficult than the main story missions - though still quite doable for any average player. Again, grind with your character in previous missions for upgrades if you're having any trouble. There are four trophies to unlock here, one for each of the four cups.

With all that done, it's time to put hours into grinding. You'll need to reach Max level with 10 different characters, reach the Max level with each of the weapons, raise 30 skills to Max level, and raise 5 pets to Max level. One of the quickest methods to do this is replaying the final, 10th mission of the Hebijo storyline, where the final boss is Ryobi after she's been transformed into a giantess. Clearing the mission is both quick and easy, even on the difficult setting, and will grant a fair number of awards.

You'll also need to grind for defeating 100 opponents with melee attacks, 100 opponents with skills, and 100 opponents with pets. These are easier to grind in single player tournaments rather than teams, as you'll have control over how to defeat each opponent. You'll also need to achieve Soaking Power-Up State 100 times, which occurs after being hit by blasts of water. This can either be grinded in single player, or head into multiplayer where teammates will normally blast each other at the start of each match to achieve the power-up state.

The last and final grind will be watching all squirmy finishes for the Squirmy Master trophy, to which there are a total of 30. These are the mini-games where you blast the opponent with a rubber-duck shaped pistol. The different finisher is determined by the opponent's type of weapon, as well as the body part you attack - either their head, bikini top, or bikini bottom. Since the game doesn't keep track of which squirmy finisher you've performed, you'll need to do this on your own.

After completing all the grinding, it's simply a matter of mopping-up whatever trophies you still need, most likely the ones related to the change room. Check out the Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.
