The Golf Club

The Golf Club is a golf simulation game with a focus on a social system. Players can choose to play the official courses in the game, or use the Course Creator to design and customize their own. Player-created courses can be uploaded and shared with the online community. The game also includes online multiplayer.

The game received mixed reviews with an average score of 67%, praised for its realism, multiplayer mode, and course creator system, though criticized for being too directed at hard core players and lacking in any assistance or tutorial system.

The only reason for the 3-star difficulty is for obtaining a few of the online trophies legitimately. The Party Planner trophy in particular, which requires you to invite three unique friends to one of your rounds, means you need three different friends who are playing the game. However, if you find yourself a few boosting partners, then the Platinum difficulty can be dropped to a 2-star, as the other trophies are not too difficult, especially if you have some experience playing golfing video games.

Expect anywhere between 15-30 hours, depending on skills and experience, whether or not you're going for the online trophies legitimately, and your luck with getting the Ace and Close But No Cigar trophies.

All trophies can be separated into four groups: official courses, created courses, online multiplayer, and miscellaneous. It's up to you in which order you'd prefer to tackle the trophies.

For the official course trophies, you'll first unlock Amateur Golfer just for playing your first round. As you play, you'll want to drive the ball 315 yards or more for the Driving The Point Home trophy, score an Eagle for the Eagle trophy, as well as go after the GIR Collector, the FIR Collector, the Ferret and the Golden Ferret trophies.

Finally, you'll need to score a hole in one for the Ace trophy, and get the ball one yard away from the hole on a 250+ drive for the Close But No Cigar trophy. Both of these are very luck based, and the hardest offline trophies in the game. Check out the Golf Club trophy guide links under our Links tab for some useful tips.

Regard the the course created trophies, you can quickly unlock an easy one by creating your course for the Built It And They Will Come trophy. With the user-created courses, you can also go for the Goldie Bounce trophy for landing the ball on the fairway after hitting a tree, drive a ball 1,000 yards for the Kapow! trophy, and get a hole in one from 250+ yards for the Super Ace trophy, as well as the Lucky Number Seven, Pinned, Comeback Kid, and Tour Pro trophies. These aren't as difficult as they seem, as there are many user-created courses designed specifically to unlocking these trophies.

There are two multiplayer related trophies. Golf Buddy for playing a round with someone online, and Party Planner for inviting three different friends to play with. If you're lacking in friends with this game, check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

Lastly, there are just a few miscellaneous trophies, which we recommend saving for last. This will probably include the Explorer trophy for playing at least 100 user-created courses.
