Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time

Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time is an action RPG and the third game in the Star Ocean series. It was first released on the PlayStation 2 in 2003, then revamped in HD with trophy support for the PlayStation 4 in 2017. Rather than using menu-driven combat like its predecessors, the game uses real-time interactive combat in which players can switch to controlling different characters in the party, while others are controlled by an AI. Characters have a Bonus Battle Gauge which, when filled, players can access Bonus Battle which allows for certain benefits to the character, such as experience points or receiving items.

Following the events of Star Ocean: The Second Story, Fayt Leingod and his childhood friend Sophia Esteed, are on vacation with Fayt’s family on the planet Hydra IV, when the planet is suddenly attacked by an advanced alien race known as the Vendeeni. Fayte and Sophia are separated after the attack, and must travel to different worlds, fighting their way to be reunited once again.

The original Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time on the PS2 received positive reviews with an average score of 81%, praised for its imaginative settings, battle system, and character customization, though criticized by some for its voice acting and technical issues.

This is a high 3-star difficulty. The game requires three playthroughs, one of which is on its most difficult mode, which can be quite challenging at times, especially at the beginning before you can acquire better weapons. Also, with three playthroughs required and plenty of post-game requirements, unlocking the Platinum will be a very time-consuming feat.

Expect over 200 hours of gameplay for the Platinum.

Start with your first playthrough on Galaxy mode and enjoy the story. The only missable trophy you need to worry about is the Follow The Clues trophy, which involves using the Ancient Book to find all seven treasures. First, you need to find and recruit Roger into your party before leave Duggus Forest. From here, you will need to complete this side quest before the boss fight with Crosell in the Urssa Lava Caves, otherwise you will be locked out of completing the sidequest, and therefore the trophy.

After you completed the story, it’s time to head into the Fighting Arena and work on those related trophies. This includes winning all the single battles for the Solo Act trophy, winning all team battles for the Terrific Teamwork trophy, and reaching Rank 1 which enables you to fight and defeat Dirna and Solon for the New Champions trophy.

Next, it’s time to complete the post game dungeons. This includes going through the Maze of Tribulations and defeating Gabriel Celesta for the Breaking The Seal trophy, the Urssa Cave Temple and defeating Fayt for the Mirror Image trophy, then Sphere 211 and defeat the final superbosses Lenneth, Freya, and the Ethereal Queen for the Final Floor trophy. At this point, you should also have collected all 26 Trading Cards for the Collect ‘Em All trophy.

Hopefully, you should now have enough BT’s to unlock Universe difficulty mode. Here, the enemies will have 1.5 times more health. After defeating the final boss, you will unlock the Master Of The Universe trophy.

If by now you’ve unlocked 65% of the BT’s, you should be able to start your 4D difficulty mode playthrough. Here, the enemies have anywhere between 1.8 to 3 times more health. This playthrough can be quite challenging in the beginning, but will get easier once you’ve gotten better equipment. After defeating the final boss on 4D mode, you will unlock the Toughest Challenge trophy.

From this point on, it’s a matter of mopping up any few remaining trophies. This may include those relating to the Bunny Race and collecting 80% of the battle trophies for the Elite Trophy Collector trophy. Be sure to check out the Star Ocean Till The End Of Time trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness Trophy Guide PS4

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness, is a sci-fi action RPG and the fifth major installment in the Star Ocean series, following after Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Similar to previous games in the series, players control one of seven party members in real-time battle sequences, with the ability to switch between characters. New to the series is the ability to craft items, and improvements to the AI.

The story is set in SD 537 (2623 AD) between the events of The Second Story and Till the End of Time, on the planet Faykreed located 6,000 light years from Earth, where first contact has been made by visitors from an advanced race, throwing the planet into a civil war. Meanwhile, a mysterious young girl has been found from the wreckage of a crashed spaceship.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 58%, praised for its story, engaging characters, and fun gameplay, though criticized for technical issues and lack of polish.

If you've played other games in the Star Ocean series, then you should have a good idea of what's expected. Overall, Integrity and Faithlessness is a little easier than its predecessor, The Last Hope. However, three full playthroughs are required, on of which on its hardest difficulty mode, and plenty of farming to do. Like many J-RPG titles, the 3-star difficulty rating is more for the time involved, rather than skills required.

Expect around 110-120 hours for the Platinum.

NOTE: While the trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3, the PS3 version is only in Japanese.

You will need to do three playthroughs, as the difficulty-related trophies do not stack. Start your playthrough on Earth mode, which is the easiest. Start by playing till about 80% of the game. Along the way, keep note of the following missable trophies: My Reaction When for using an emote during a cutscene, Boss Of The Bestiary for encountering every enemy, and Compendium Completionist for cataloguing all 623 items. Check out the Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness trophy guide links under our Links tab for more details on these. Although you'll be doing two more playthroughs later, we recommend getting these now just so you won't need to worry about them.

Eventually, after about 80% into the story, you'll be on a ship in your private quarters to sleep, when you'll receive a warning that you'll be approaching the end, and ask if you wish to proceed. At this point, make a back-up file. This way, after you've completed the game and witnessed one of the endings, you can reload and view the next one. Rinse and repeat until you've viewed all six different endings, and gotten each of their respective trophies.

After that, you'll want to work on all the other miscellaneous trophies, except for those related to playing on the harder levels. This should include Boss OF The Bestiary trophy, Consummate Combatant for obtaining al battle trophies, acquiring all battle skills and spells for the Supernal Aspirations trophy, and a few others. Again, check out the Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're still missing and their requirements.

Next, start a second playthrough, this time on Universal mode. Here is your chance to mop-up any missable trophies you couldn't unlock during your first playthrough. Completing this playthrough will unlock both The Legend Begins for starting a second playthrough, and Universally Renowned for completing Univeral mode.

Finally, it's time for one more playthrough, this time on Chaos difficulty. For the most part, Chaos shouldn't prove to be very difficult except for a few bosses. Completing this will unlock the Survivor Of Chaos trophy, and hopefully, the Platinum trophy as well.

Resonance of Fate Trophy Guide

Resonance of Fate

Resonance of Fate is a J-RPG in a steampunk setting, which utilizes the "tri-Attack Battle system," a combination of real-time and turn-based controls in a fast-paced, strategic combat system between three playable characters and their different types of weapons. The game takes place on a future Earth, where humanity is an endangered species forced to live in a city near an air purification module known as the Zenith, due to the hazardous environmental changes outside.

Vashyron, Zephyr, and Leanne are hunters who embark on odd jobs around the city. But things get complicated when they encounter situations where people's fates are strangely deviating from the predetermined path set by the Zenith system.

Resonance of Fate received mainly positive reviews with an average score of 78%, praised for its innovative combat battle system, customizable weapons, and cinematography, though criticized by some for its lack of epic feel to the story.

Resonance of Fate is a J-RPG with a complex battle system. The 3-star difficulty is mainly due to the minimum of two playthroughs - and therefore the many hours - required for the platinum, as well as the game's sharp learning curve. Be prepared to die a lot in the beginning until you've gained a handle on the necessary battle strategies.

Overall, expect roughly 80-100 hours on this one for the Platinum.

Due to the Lap Two Complete trophy, the game will require two full playthroughs. We recommend completing just about everything during your first playthrough - unlocking all the missable trophies - so that your second playthrough can be a simply, 6-7 hour speed-run.

During your first playthrough, you'll want to complete all 90 missions throughout the game, which includes both the main story line missions as well as the side missions per chapter, which range between 2-6. Once that particular chapter is complete, you won't be able to go back and do the side missions, so be sure to complete them before moving on. Completing all 90 missions will unlock The Legendary Hunter trophy.

While many of the other trophies are either story-based or combat-based and therefore will naturally unlock during your progress, you'll want to pay special attention to the following: Basel's Liberator and King Of Neverland, Stardust Hunter, Challenge Conqueror, and Disrespect Your Elders. These are missable, so check out their requirements in the Resonance of Fate trophy guide links under our Links tab and strategise wisely.

Once your first playthrough is complete and you've hopefully unlocked nearly all the trophies, it's time to start your second. Select New Game+ which, if you're playing on the same difficulty level (recommended if you're in a rush for the Platinum) then you'll retain all your equipment and experience. You'll unlock the A New Beginning trophy for starting the new game, then the Lap Two Complete trophy for completing it.

If you happen to still be missing some trophies at this point, then now's the time to mop-up. Otherwise, congratulations!

Final Fantasy XIII-3 Trophy Guide

Final Fantasy XIII-3 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A sci-fi fantasy RPG and a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XII-2. Though requires some strategy and planning, the Platinum is significantly easier and less-time consuming than its predecessors.

Final Fantasy XIII-3

Final Fantasy XIII-3, titled as Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, is a direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII-2 and the final story in the trilogy. The battle system has been altered from its two prequels, while the world is much more open and less linear. An in-game clock counts down to the end, forcing the player to manage time in order to reach the end goal.

Taking place five hundred years after Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning awakens from hibernation only thirteen days before the end of the world. Having been chosen by the deity Bhunivelze, she must save the people of the world before its end, while also learn the truth behind Bhunivelze's plan and the world's coming demise.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII received mixed reviews, with an average score of 69%. Across most reviews, the battle system was praised while the game's story was poorly received. The in-game time limit received the most mixed feedback, ranging from adding excitement to frustration.

Considered easier and less time-consuming than its prequels. Unlike the other FF13 titles (or most RPGs, for that matter) this one is designed to be played multiple times. If you do your homework, strategize, and make the most of your time management throughout the game, you can earn this platinum in two playthroughs. There are three difficulty modes to play on, but none are trophy related, which means you can perform your multiple playthroughs on Easy.

Overall, expect anywhere between 40-90 hours of gameplay, depending on how many playthroughs you end up doing.

As we stated earlier, you can play through on Easy mode across all your playthroughs, as it has no bearing on obtaining the Platinum. It simply makes your life easier

To get your Platinum in only 2 playthroughs, you'll need to do a bit of planning. On your first playthrough, make sure you find at least 30 of the 49 possible Head Accessories. You'll need two of each (the second set will be collected during your second playthrough) in order to unlock the Expert Craftsman trophy. Also, in addition to completing all of the story quest, you'll want to aim for completing at least 50 of the side quests, as well as the Canvas of Prayers quests. At the end of this first playthrough, you should have a good majority of the trophies.

Your second playthrough will be a New Game+, which should make things easier after carrying over all your stats and equipment. Here, you'll need to find the same 30 Head Accessories and use them to upgrade each in order to unlock the Expert Craftsman trophy. Aside from working through the main storyline and the side quests you've done already, you should now be able to unlock the Monster Bane and Desert Dragonslayer trophies, as well as the last remaining Expert trophies.

If, after that second playthrough you haven't been able to obtain the Platinum, then it's time for another playthrough to mop-up anything you're missing.
