Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin's Creed Origins is a third-person action adventure and the tenth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, after the 2015 Assassin's Creed Syndicate. The game takes place in ancient Egypt where players can witness both the birth of the Assassins as well as The Order of the Ancients who eventually evolve into the Templar Order.

Set during the Ptolemaic period in Egypt between 49-47 BCE, Bayek is a Medjay who sets himself on a quest of revenge against five mysterious men who had previously attempted to kidnap and force him to open a mysterious vault. Though his quest for revenge will send him down an unexpected path.

Assassin's Creed Origins received positive reviews with an average score of 83%, praised for its beautiful environments and graphics, its fresh approach to the series, and large world to explore, though criticized for a few graphical glitches.

Not only are there no online trophies required for the Platinum, but the game can be played on an Easy mode. Also, like many of the previous games in the series, there are no missable trophies to worry about. The only thing this Platinum requires is time.

Expect roughly 50 hours of gameplay, depending on which difficulty mode you decide to play, and your skills.

First, feel free to set the difficulty mode to Easy if you're in a rush for that Platinum.

If you've played any of the previous games in the Assassin's Creed series, then you should know the drill. Begin things by simply playing through the main campaign and enjoy the story.

While there are technically no missable trophies, the Reduce Reuse Recycle trophy is easier to obtain if worked on from the beginning. This trophy requires selling 100 trinkets at once, so we recommend saving them up until you're ready for the trophy.

Once that's finished, it's time to do some grinding in order to reach Level 40, so that you'll be ready to defeat some high-level enemies which are tied to a few miscellaneous trophies. Work through exploring each location in your level before moving onto the next, and eventually you'll reach Level 40.

With that done, it's time to mop-up whatever you're missing. Be sure to check out the Assassin's Creed Origins trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

Shaun White Snowboarding Trophy Guide

Shaun White Snowboarding

Shaun White Snowboarding is a snowboarding sports game in which players race and perform stunts down six different mountains, competing against NPCs and eventually a digital rendering of American professional snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White.

Players compete in a variety of events, including Jibbing, Air Tricking, Slopestyle, Boardercross, and Halfpipe, earning both money and respect which allows them to upgrade their player-character. An online multiplayer mode is also included.

Shaun White Snowboarding's PS3 version received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 64%, praised for its overall fun, but criticized for its lack of presentation and ho-hum graphics.

For more information, check out our Shaun White Snowboarding Review.

It should be noted that Ubisoft announced the closure of their online servers on August 8 2014. As of the time adding this title to our game database, the servers still remain active, on borrowed time. The game has 7 online trophies, which will become unobtainable if/when the servers finally do go offline.

Aside from that, the most difficult challenge will be learning the controls. Once you've mastered the learning curve, many of the trophies can be rather easy to collect, if not simply time-consuming, with the Platinum earned in around 20-30 hours.

As we mentioned earlier, at the time of uploading this game to our database, the online servers are on borrowed time, and could be cut at any time. As a result, we recommend getting those 7 online trophies out of the way as soon as you can. Unfortunately, you'll need to unlock some challenges before you can play them online. This means, doing so should be a priority.

First start by exploring the areas and collecting tokens for each map, while getting used to the controls. The learning curve can be steep for some people, but once you've gotten the hang of it, you shouldn't have too much problem.

Once you're confident enough, go ahead and start working through the challenges and missions. After you've gotten through and everything's unlocked, don't worry about mopping-up just yet. Head online and start working on those 7 online trophies. Many of them don't require you to win, simply play different challenges on different mountains. But the Mecha Shredzilla trophy requires a total of 1 million respect points, and will take some grinding if you didn't achieve it while unlocking the others.

After all that's done, you can go ahead and start mopping up any remaining offline trophies you're still missing.

Far Cry 2 Trophy Guide

Far Cry 2 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: *****  A first-person shooter in an open world and a sequel to Crytek’s Far Cry. While not exceptionally difficult, the Platinum is incredibly time consuming.

Far Cry 2

Far Cry 2 is an open-world first-person shooter, and a sequel to Crytek's Far Cry, despite being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, and possessing new characters and settings.

The player-character is sent to the northern territory of Leboa-Sako on a mission to assassinate the arms dealer known as The Jackal. After recuperating from a bad case of malaria, the protagonist must continue the hunt for the Jackal, while staying alive in the African landscape which is in a state of anarchy and civil war. The game also features an online mode with matches that hold up to 16 players, and a map editor.

Far Cry 2 received positive reviews, averaging a score of 84%, praised for its visuals and open-world design, as well as the AI intelligence of the NPCs.

This game ranks alongside Grand Theft Auto IV and DC Universe Online as one of the rarest Platinums out there, and with good reason. While not exceptionally challenging, the amount of time required to put into this game for 100% is incredible.

The offline trophies alone will take up quite a lot of time as you must scour the entire map searching for collectibles and performing missions - not to mention complete the main story. While time consuming, this can be done in one playthrough if you follow the walkthroughs and trophy guides in our Links page. But the online trophies is where you'll be grinding the most. If you have a boosting partner, and perform the "Warlord" trick, it's possible to bring this rating down to a high 4-star, but still expect to put in over 200 hours into the game. Without a boosting partner, you're looking at nearly 400 hours.

You may want to take a leave of absence from your day-job, for this one.

The difficulty mode doesn't affect the trophies, so when you start the offline play, you may as well select the easiest mode. If you are aiming to obtain all the offline trophies in one playthrough, then you'll want to focus on completing all the available missions, as well as work towards finding all the collectibles and miscellaneous trophies before advancing through the main story. This includes finding all the audio logs, purchasing all weapons and all their upgrades, rescuing a buddy, completing a side quest for a buddy, among many others. Check out the Far Cry 2 trophy guide links under our Links tab for further details, and pay close attention to any marked as "missable." From then on out, work your way through the main quest. Hopefully by the end, you should have all 32 offline trophies completed when you beat the game.

After, you still have all the online trophies to worry about, and this is where the grinding really comes in, particularly in reaching certain ranks. If you have a boosting partner, there's a glitch in which you can earn the Warlord trophy quickly - which means unlocking Rank 30. Check out the FIRST trophy guide in our Links page to find out how this is done. However, this glitch will not unlock the Mercenary trophy, which requires a Rank 20 - that, you will still have to grind for.

Good luck!

Far Cry 3

Far Cry 3 is a sequel to the 2008 Far Cry 2. The game is a first-person shooter in an open world, with RPG elements such as gaining experience points to purchase and improve skills. In addition to the main story, Far Cry 3 also includes a number of side-quests, and a co-op feature, which can be played either online or offline.

You play as Jason Brody on vacation with friends. During a skydiving trip, the vacationers land on an island occupied with pirates, and are kidnapped. Jason manages to break free, and must figure out a way to rescue his friends and get safely off the island.

The game received overall high praise, with an average score of 91% for its interesting and unpredictable story, variety of weapons and overall fun gameplay.

Except for one missable trophy, you're free to play the game from beginning to end, after which opens a free roam where you can easily mop-up anything you've missed. There are also 6 co-op trophies to acquire, which can either be done online or offline with a friend.

Overall, only an average amount of gaming skills are required, and about 20 hours of your time.

Since there are no trophies related to the difficulty mode, you can select Easy and start up your game. For the most part, you can play from beginning to end without worry - except for one missable trophy: Unheard, which requires you to liberate an outpost without triggering the alarm. There are 34 outposts, so just make sure you managed to disable the alarms with with at least one of them. At the end of the game, if you've liberated all the outposts and triggered their alarms, you'll need to restart a new game.

Also, though not missable, you may want to get Never Saw It Coming, Love The Boom, and Toxophilite during the early stages of the main story, as they'll be easier this way. Check out the Far Cry 3 trophy guide links under our Links tab for further details.

Once you've finished the main story, you're free to roam the island and mop-up anything you've missed. Lastly, there are 6 co-op trophies, each corresponding to a particular map. These trophies can be obtained either online, or offline in split-screen.

Avatar: The Game

James Camerons' Avatar: The Game is a third-person action title based on the 2009 film. The game uses the same stereoscopic 3D technology as the movie, and includes much of the original cast including Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Michelle Rodriguez.

Taking place two years before the events of the film, Able Ryder is a new signals specialist assigned to Pandora who, after a series of missions, finds himself caught between an RDA strike and helping the Na'vi.

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game received very mixed reviews, with an average score of 61%, praised for its visuals and 3D effect, but criticized for its controls and linear gameplay.

Avatar: The Game includes 8 online trophies. Unfortunately, the servers were closed on August 8, 2014. As a result, these 8 online trophies - and therefore the Platinum trophy - has become Not Obtainable.

Since the online servers for Avatar: The Game have closed on August 8, 2014, the eight online trophies, as well as the Platinum, have since become Not Obtainable. However, the game still includes 31 offline trophies. So if you're interested, then read on.

Start on the storyline. Once you've completed the beginning of the game, you'll be given the option of selecting either the RDA or Na'vi route. Since you'll eventually need to do both, it doesn't matter which you choose. Just make sure you stick with it up until the end, as you'll be given another choice later on. The important thing is to complete all the Sector Challenges for both sides. If you complete the game without getting 100%, you missed your chance and will need to start over.

Once you've finished one side, you can restart from the earlier save point and start your playthrough on the other side. This is your chance to mop-up any kill-related trophies you missed, as well as earn the Clean Sweep Of Pandora trophy after completing another 100% of the Sector Challenges.
