Zumba Fitness

Zumba Fitness is a fitness game based on the Zumba dance fitness program created by Alberto Beto Perez, and uses the PlayStation Move controller. The game includes a Zumba Belt in which the Move controller is fastened to the right hip. The game combines Latin and world rhythms with dance moves in a fitness program designed to burn calories in a fun way. Zumba Fitness includes 30 different routines with up to four players, and an online mode. Zumba instructors Tanya Beardsley, Gina Grant, and Beto host the game.

Zumba Fitness received poor reviews by the few online reviewers, with an average score of 54%, criticized for its presentation, repetition of dance moves, and difficulty level.

Obtaining the Platinum for this game is so difficult, that it may as well be listed as Not Obtainable. However, it is technically possible, so it warrants a 5-star difficulty. The majority of the trophies are quite easy. However, the Addicted To Zomba trophy requires you to play Dance Online with 100 different people. The problem, of course, is finding 100 different people to play with. Even if you locate some boosting partners online, a hundred people is a lot.

Expect a good 60-80 hours of gameplay for the majority of the trophies, and add however long it takes to find 100 different people online to play with.

Ready to lose those pounds and earn some trophies in the process?

Well, we recommend starting off with the Tutorial, and going down through the list. Completing all of them will earn you a trophy for each set for a total of 6 trophies, plus you'll unlock Join The Party and Drastic Dancer as well.

Next, it's all about dancing through 20 minute fitness classes to unlock the other offline trophies. For the Mind-blowing Moves trophy, you'll need to play through each son, of which the game does not keep track, so either do them in order or write down which ones you've done.

For the Zumbatomic trophy, simply change the date on your PS3 for each day, until you've played Zumba Fitness for 30 days in a row.

Following this, simply check out the Zumba Fitness trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're missing and how to obtain it.

After all the offline trophies are done, it's time to unlock the 10 online ones. Having a boosting partner will help unlock the majority of these, such as for hosting or jointing 10 online routines. However, the most difficult trophy - and the reason we awarded this game a 5-star difficulty - is for finding 100 different people to dance online with, for the Addicted To Zumba trophy. These need to be "different" people, so you can't just dance with the same person 100 times. You can try some of the boosting forums under our Links tab, though it still won't add up to 100 different people.

If you have a second PS3, you could possibly buy a second copy of the game and create 100 PSN accounts to play with (the PS3 allows up to 64 accounts created, so you'll need to switch PS3s afterwards). Yes, it's a ridiculous method to get the trophy. But that's why we gave this game a 5-star difficulty rating.

Good luck!
