Amazing Spider-Man 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a third-person action adventure, a sequel to the 2012 The Amazing Spider-Man, and roughly based on the 2014 film of the same name. Like the prequel, the game takes place in an open world, set in Manhattan, but with improved web swinging mechanics, an expanded city, and introduces new villains.

Peter Parker, the secret identity of Spider-Man, is searching for the murderer of his Uncle Ben. Meanwhile, Oscorp CEO Harry Osborn is working with billionaire Wilson Fisk to form a privatized police force, which begins a series of obstacles for our web-slinging hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 received mixed reviews, with an average score of 56%, criticized for its unpolished graphics and series of glitches.

This game is pretty average, in terms of difficulty and time. A full playthrough on its hardest difficulty setting is required, which isn't too hard. After which, you can switch the settings and enter a free-roam to collect the remaining trophies. Nothing online to worry about.

The platinum will take roughly 25 hours, on average.

If you're in a rush for that platinum, then we recommend beginning the game on Super Hero difficulty, which is the hardest difficulty mode in the game. You can ignore all the side missions and other activities if you wish, and just focus on completing the game. This will earn you the Super Hero trophy, as well as other difficulty-related trophies, and a number of others along the way. During this playthrough, after selecting Super Hero, make sure you don't adjust the difficulty setting at any time, until you get your Super Hero trophy.

Once you've finished the game, you'll enter free-roam. Now, it's safe to change the difficulty to an easier level, if you wish. This free-roam is similar to that in the Assassin's Creed series, in which you can wander around and perform side missions and other activities which will unlock the remaining trophies, as well as be allowed to replay previous chapters in the story if there's anything you missed.

You'll probably spend most of your time here maxing out all your Spider-Man suits, which will unlock the Ultimate Spider-Man trophy. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page to see what you're missing and tips on what to do. Once you've mopped up the remaining trophies in free-roam, you'll have yourself a new platinum.
