Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4 is a first-person action-adventure shooter, which takes place in an open world, and is the fourth installment in the Far Cry series. The game takes place on the fictional Himalayan country named Kyrat, consisting of mountains, forests, and villages. Players use a variety of methods to complete missions, such as by killing or evading through stealth.

Ajay Ghale heads to his home country of Kyrat in order to fulfill his mother's final wishes by scattering her ashes. However, he is taken prisoner by the Royal Army, where he learns of some unexpected secrets his mother left behind.

Far Cry 4 received positive reviews with an average score of 84%, praised for its interesting characters, beautiful landscapes, and an overall improvement over the previous titles.

The game is fairly average in terms of difficulty, in all respects. A few story-related trophies, find some collectibles, kill and challenge trophies, and four online ones. The four online trophies are quick to unlock, particularly if you have a boosting partner, though still doable on your own.

Overall, expect between 20-25 hours, depending on your skills.

NOTE: The Trophies on the PS3 version are separate than those on the PS4.

The first thing you can do is simply go through and complete the story mode. You'll earn six story-related trophies this way, as well as a few naturally along the way. While progressing through the story, you may want to snatch up any collectibles you find, liberate any bell towers you come across, as well as the outposts. This will simply make your next step easier after completing the story.

With the campaign done, it's time to find the last of the collectibles you're still missing for the trophies, as well as liberate any remaining outposts and bell towers. Be sure to check out the collectible guides in our Links page if you're having trouble finding them. You won't need to find everything, but you're required to collect 15 masks of Yalung, 30 propaganda posters, 10 lost letters, 10 Mani wheels, and read 10 notes.

At this point, you can head into multiplayer and get those four online trophies out of the way. The Community Surprise trophy won't require any online players; simply select the Map Browser option in the main menu, and Top Rated Outpost, then select a map and kill one enemy for the trophy to unlock. For the Renaissance Man trophy, you'll need to play and complete an Outpost, Demon Mask, and Propaganda game. For Brother In Arms, you will need to play as Hurk while liberating an outpost, which means you'll need to be on the receiving end of an invitation. Also, the Changing Lanes trophy can be a bit tricky if you're handling it with someone you don't know, so make sure to communicate or find a boosting partner.

With that out of the way, you can head back into the campaign and mop up any remaining trophies. This will probably include Fully Loaded for learning all the skills, as well as any still missing for completing side quests, or other miscellaneous trophies. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page to see what you're still after and what the conditions are.
