Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is an online third-person shooter, based on the tower defense game Plants vs. Zombies. Players control either different plant or zombie classes, battling in various competitive and co-operative modes. Characters level-up and earn upgrades by completing specific challenges unique to each class.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare received positive reviews, with an average score of 78%, praised for its amount of customization and overall fun, though criticized for its lack of different modes.
While there are a couple trophies that are a bit challenging, such as completing Garden Ops on Crazy Difficulty mode, or time consuming such as reaching Rank 50, the platinum is overall pretty average in terms of skills and time required. The game is entirely online, and a number of kill-related trophies can possibly be boosted to save some time.
Expect 30-40 hours of gameplay for the Platinum.
NOTE: The Trophies on the PS3 have a separate list than those on the PS4.
For the most part, you'll be switching back and forth between playing Garden Ops and Competitive. We recommend starting off by playing Garden Ops on normal, which will not only give you a feel for the game, but also allow you to experiment with each class.
Once that's done, head on into Competitive and start focusing on upgrading your classes. In this process, you can also start unlocking the kill-related trophies, each related to different plants and zombies' abilities. These can be boosted if you have a friend. Just find an occupied area and start killing each other. Also, remember that leveling up requires completing challenges with different classes, rather than simply getting kills.
Once your classes have reached Rank 10, you can head back into Garden Ops if you like, and finish off those trophies. The upgrades you've earned in Competitive will help you a lot, particularly when trying to complete Crazy Difficulty mode.
Finally, head back into Competitive and clean up on any trophies you're still missing.
