Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
Based on the film of the same name, which in turn is based on the children's book by Judi Barrett and Ron Barrett, the game is a third-person adventure platformer.
After Flint Lockwood's new invention to cause food to rain from the sky goes berserk, he must stop his creation before the town becomes buried under vast amounts of pizza, hamburgers and spaghetti. Armed with several different gadgets and inventions, the player must battle mutated food to reach the goal.
Though few reviews are available, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs scored an average 65% rating, criticized for its repetitive and overall bland appeal.
Like most games based on animated films, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs is an easy platinum which should take only a few hours to complete. It may, in fact, be arguably one of the easiest Platinums in the entire PlayStation 3 trophy library!
Nearly half of the trophies are story-based, while the others are simple challenges - if even called that. If you're looking for an easy game to up your trophy score, this one is for you.
Simply start up the game and play from beginning to end. You may want to sneak a peak at the trophies, and decide when and where to obtain certain "challenges." However, after completing the game, there's a chapter select at your disposal to mop up anything you missed.
As you play, keep an eye out for the Hydronic Foodpods. There are a total of 15 in the game - one in each of the first fifteen levels to collect the Dishin' Out! trophy. Most are easy to spot, while a few on the ice-cream levels require an upgraded heat-gun, which means you'll need to return later in the game.
As stated before, there's a level select in the game. Once you've gone through from start to finish, simply mop-up anything you're missing. The entire process, depending on your skill and luck, should only take about 5 hours.
