Dead to Rights: Retribution
Dead to Rights: Retribution is a third-person action, and a reboot of the Dead to Rights series, which began on various sixth generation consoles.
Taking place in the fictional Grant City, vice-cop Jack Slate tells his tale in a series of flashbacks of the events surrounding a terrorist attack at the Temple Tower, and his continuous search for the gang leader, Riggs, and his involvement with the Triad.
Dead to Rights: Retribution received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 61%, stating that having the canine companion Shadow was a nice novelty, but with various slow scenes at times, the game is considered merely average.
As far as difficulty goes, this game is fairly average. You'll need to play on its hardest difficulty setting, which isn't too bad. No online trophies to worry about. Collectibles are to be found, which you can use one of the guides under our Links tab, and a chapter select allows you to mop-up afterwards. Perhaps considered easier than the Uncharted series, and less time consuming than Assassin's Creed II.
Overall, you should have the Platinum in around 15-20 hours of gameplay, depending on your skills.
If you're in a hurry for that Platinum, we recommend starting on Detective difficulty, which is the game's hardest mode. All in all, Detective mode isn't that bad, and completing it first will simply get the Retribution trophy out of the way, leaving room to simply mop-up. During your playthrough, however, you should follow a guide under our Links tab, or be on the look-out for Cop Badges. There are 50 in total, which you'll need for the Honor The Dead trophy.
Once that's out of the way, you can just use the chapter select to mop-up anything you missed. Here, it doesn't matter which setting you're on, so you can clean up on the easiest difficulty mode. This also includes getting Gold Ratings you may be missing from your previous playthrough, and any other random challenges. Check out the Dead to Rights Retribution trophy guide links under our Links tab for details on anything you're missing.
