Rage

Rage is a first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic open world, similar to the Borderlands series, with racing gameplay similar to Burnout. The game includes a 2-player co-op split screen, as well as online multiplayer.

The player-character is an Ark Survivor, who was sheltered during an asteroid collision with Earth which destroyed civilization. After awakening and finding the world in a wasteland, he is attacked by bandits, but saved by a wasteland settler who explains that a rising government is searching for the Ark Survivors for unknown purposes.

Rage received positive reviews, with an average score of 81%, praised for its graphics, gun-play action, and overall fun, though criticized by some for its weak story.

This game requires both some skill and quite a bit of time. The Obsessive Compulsive trophy requires completing 100% in the campaign, and this will require some planning due to some collectibles being missable. At least one playthrough on Nightmare difficulty is required. However, the most skill-dependent aspect is completing the mini-games, which can be quite tricky. There are also 2 online trophies, though these don't require much time to unlock.

Overall, a doable Platinum which requires at least 30 hours of playing, depending on how many playthroughs you do.

There are two ways you can go about this. Either do everything you can on Nightmare difficulty, or simply run through Nightmare and mop-up on Easy. The first option is certainly less time consuming, and Nightmare difficulty isn't terribly hard compared to some other games. But doing two playthroughs will allow you to simply focus on completing the game on Nightmare, then worry about all the collectibles and missables on Easy mode, while now being familiar with the game and points of no return. It's time versus ease, so the choice is yours.

Either way, during one of your playthroughs, you will need to find all the collectibles in the game. Some areas will lock-up after leaving, which means if you haven't found all the collectibles by then, you're out of luck. So make sure to follow one of the collectible guides under our Links tab during this playthrough. These areas include Dead City, the Authority Prison, the Well, and Outrigger Settlement. Make sure you find everything you need in these four locations before leaving.

The point of no return is the assault on the Authority Bridge. After that, some side-missions, such as races, are no longer available, which will lock you out of the Obsessive Compulsive trophy. You'll know you're ready when you have 126/130 completed, as there is a card, two jumps, and the mission itself to bring your total to 130.

Once that's all finished, you can head into multiplayer and nab the two online trophies, Fresh Meat and MVP, which requires you to both complete and come in first place in a public Road RAGE match. As long as your skills are up to the challenge, winning the match shouldn't take you too long.

Last are the four co-op related trophies. These you can either do online, or invite a friend to your home, hand him or her a controller, and do them in split-screen.
