F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a first-person action-shooter horror, and a sequel to the 2006 game F.E.A.R. which was released before trophy support on the PlayStation 3.
You play as Michael Becket, a Delta Force operator sent to apprehend Genevieve Aristide, about where the previous game left off. He soon learns of a project called "Harbringer," which involves both himself and his squadron. Becket must uncover the mystery surrounding the danger brought on to his teammates, while stopping the supernatural being Alma from altering reality to suit her own.
The game received generally positive reviews, with an average score of 78%, praising its overall fun as a shooter, but criticizing its bland level design and ho-hum story.
F.E.A.R. 2 includes 18 online trophies. Unfortunately, after the closure of GameSpy following the Ziff Davis acquisition of IGN Entertainment, the online servers to the game were closed on July 16, 2014. As a result, the 18 online trophies - and therefore the Platinum trophy - have since become Not Obtainable.
The online servers for F.E.A.R. 2 were closed on July 16, 2014. As a result, the game's 18 online trophies - and therefore the platinum trophy - are now Not Obtainable. However, the game still includes 31 offline trophies, so if you're still interested, then read on.
This game doesn't require much of a roadmap, as you have simply the online and offline trophies. The online ones are straight forward: completing each level, completing the game on Hard mode, and finding all the collectibles. If you're in a rush, simply play from start to finish on Hard, and follow a walkthrough under our Links tab to locate all the collectibles. If you miss any, there's a chapter select to help you.
However, it's the multiplayer trophies which would have given you grief. But since the online servers are closed, we needn't worry about them anymore. Unfortunately, that also means no Platinum trophy.
