PlayStation Plus Free Games February 2026

Happy New Year! And as a special treat, it seems Sony is dishing out four freebies this month. And so, here is the PlayStation Plus free games February 2026 line-up which will be available for download on Tuesday, February 3.

First, for the PS5, there’s Undisputed, The 2024 boxing game developed by Steel City Interactive and published by Deep Silver. The game includes over 70 licenses fighters, both male and female, and each with over 60 individual punches and 50 different attributes and traits. The game features both single-player and online multiplayer.

Next, for both the PS4 and PS5, there’s Subnautica: Below Zero, the 2021 open-world survival adventure, developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, and a spin-off to Subnautica. In first-person perspective, players control xenologist Robin Ayou who is searching the ocean for clues explain her sister’s strange death. Collect resources, build tools and bases, and interact with the wildlife – both friendly and hostile.

Then, for both the PS4 & PS5, there’s Ultros, the Metroid-like game developed by Hadoque and published by Kepler Interactive. Players control a space traveler who, after awaking upon a ship caught in a time loop, must survive both with and against the overgrown plant life, while preventing the sleeping demon from waking.

Finally, for the PS4, there’s Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, the 2019 combat flight simulator by Bandai Namco Studios. Soar through the skies and engage in the war between countries Osea and Erusea, as fighter pilot Trigger, who has been assigned to a penal squadron after being accused of murder.

All four games in the PlayStation Plus free games February 2026 line-up include platinum trophies to unlock.

Among then, Subnautica: Below Zero has arguably the easiest platinum to unlock. Despite a few missable trophies to watch out for, the platinum can be unlocked in less than 10 hours if following a guide.

Following this, unlocking the platinum for Ultros is below average in terms of difficulty, and will take around 25-30 hours of gameplay, depending on your playstyle.

Although obtaining the platinum for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown could be classified as average in terms of difficulty, this entirely depends on your skills and experience with the Ace Combat series. There are also some online trophies which require grinding. Expect around 50-60 hours of gameplay for this platinum, depending on your skills.

Lastly, there has not been much information reported on the difficulty, nor the time required, in unlocking the platinum for Undisputed. However, some online trophies, such as the Can’t Be Touched trophy requires a win-streak of five online matches, which may be challenging for those lacking in boxing video game skills.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is part of the Ace Combat flight series, though taking place in real Earth rather than on "Strangereal." Players take control of fighter jets, as well as a stealth bomber, a Black Hawk, an attack helicopter, and an AC-130. The game includes co-op and competitive online play.

Set in the near future, a renegade Russian force known as SRN has stolen a powerful experimental weapon and threatens to use it against Russia and the United States. Only a multinational U.N. military air force can stop them. The game takes place in a number of locations, including Tokyo, East Africa, Dubai, Russia, Miami, and Washington.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon received generally positive reviews, with an average score of 74%, praised for its presentation, real-world settings and arcade-like controls, but criticized for its repetitiveness.

This is a high 3-star rating, as it requires some serious skills, online grinding, and online co-op related trophies. If you have a boosting partner, then the difficulty could be reduced to a low 3-star rating.

While the majority of the trophies will come easily during the course of the main game, you'll need to play it through on its difficulty mode, as well as receive "A-rankings" on each mission, which can be both tricky and frustrating. On top of which, there are 12 online trophies to worry about, one which requires you to play through all the missions via co-op, and another where you must spend 50 hours playing online.

Expect to spend around 100 hours on this game, depending on your skills.

Once thing nice about this game is you can play through and enjoy the campaign mode without worrying about the trophies, as everything can later be mopped-up in Free Mission mode. You will eventually need to beat the campaign on Elite mode, which is the more difficult and certainly challenging setting. So it's up to you fi you'd prefer to ease into the game and start on Normal, or aim straight for that platinum in the quickest time.

Once that's finished, and before embarking on obtaining the Ace Of Aces trophy, which requires an A-rank for each mission, we recommend going for the Co-Op mode first. The reason is because gaining A-ranks in co-op will earn you perks which will help make the Ace Of Aces trophy a little easier.

Once you've gotten the Warworlf Squadron, Formation Attack, and Welcome To Mission Co-Op trophies out of the way, you can start working your way through collecting A-rankings on each stage for the Aces Of Aces trophy. This is certainly the most difficult offline trophy, and will require much patience. If you're having serious trouble, check out the Ace Combat Assault Horizon trophy guide links and tips we've included under our Links tab.

Finally, you have the remaining online trophies to worry about. Many of these can be unlocked quicker with a boosting buddy. If you're in need of one, check out the forum under the Links tab. But the most time consuming will be Veteran Pilot, which requires you to play for a total of 50 hours - not including the time spent in the lobby. The time you invested in Co-Op will be included. Also, you can always check the time stamp on your save file to see where you're at and how many hours you need.
