Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a third-person action adventure and the ninth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, following Assassin's Creed Unity. The story is set in 19th Century London during the end of the Industrial Revolution. Unlike previous titles in the series, players switch between the two main protagonists during and outside the game's story.

The Helix player, currently working as an Assassin Initiate, relives the memories of twin Assassin's Jacob and Evie Frye, in search of a Piece of Eden hidden somewhere in London. In 1868, London has fallen under the control of Templar Grand Master Crawford Starrick, who threatens to use his power in the city's industry and criminal underworld to takeover all of England - unless Jacob and Evie Frye can stop him.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate received positive reviews with an average score of 78%, praised for its environments and city design, interesting characters, and story, though both praised and criticized for its new combat and grappling hook system.

Syndicate is roughly on par with Assassin's Creed II, in terms of difficulty and time. There are no online trophies to worry about, and no missable ones, either. Simply play through the game, then enter free-roam and unlock whatever you are missing. Nothing any average gamer can't handle.

Expect roughly 25-30 hours of gameplay for the Platinum trophy.

If you've played previous Assassin's Creed titles, then you should know the roadmap by now. Syndicate is no different, except without the online trophies.

Start things by simply playing through the game, from beginning to end. During this time, you can either work on unlocking a few miscellaneous trophies, or simply wait until the free-roam. At the very least, we recommend trying to achieve 100% synchronization whenever possible, simply to make things easier later when going for the Mentor trophy, as well as synchronize all the viewpoints in London for the Chimney Sweep trophy. Also, if you encounter a random Crowd Event, go ahead and complete it. You will eventually need twenty in order to unlock the Ordinary Criminal trophy. Otherwise, simply enjoy the game and its story.

Once the story is complete and you enter free-roam, you can now go ahead and mop-up all the remaining trophies. This may include getting 100 synchronization, finding all the collectibles in the form of Pressed Flowers, Historical Posters, and Royal Letters, and any others you still need. be sure to check out the Assassin's Creed Syndicate trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

Enjoy!

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood

While not the official Assassin's Creed 3, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the third installment in the series, and a direct sequel to Assassin's Creed II, continuing the story of Ezio Auditore de Firenze and Desmond Miles.

The game, like its predecessors, is an action-adventure with sandbox playstyle and stealth elements, and is the first in the series to possess a multiplayer feature.

After escaping the Templar's attack, Desmond hides out in the ruins of the Villa Auditore, along with Lucy, Rebecca and Shaun. There, he again takes control of Ezio Auditore using the Animus 2.0 and his genetic memory, in order to locate an artifact known as the Apple of Eden, believed to stop the impending disaster orchestrated by the Templars.

The game received high praise by all critics across the board, with an average score of 88%, won best Action Adventure game in the 2010 Spike TV Video Game Awards, and nominated for 7 British Academy Video Game Awards in 2011.

This platinum is as difficult as Assassin's Creed II, but with added online trophies which can take up to 40 or 50 hours - hence the extra star on our difficulty rating. However, if you find yourself a boosting partner, many of these online trophies can easily be collected, reducing our rating to a high 2-star.

NOTE: The Trophies on the PS3 have a separate list than those on the PS4.

Like Assassin's Creed II, you can - for the most part - simply play the game from beginning to end without much worry. There are, however, 2 missable trophies: Mailer Daemon (involving accessing your e-mail in 2012) and Dust To Dust (finding the artifact in 2012). Both of these trophies can be obtained after Sequence 2, but MUST be collected BEFORE Sequence 8. Once those two are out of the way, simply continue playing without any worry towards the end.

After the game is complete, you can now mop-up all remaining offline trophies. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page for further details on these, as well as locations of collectibles.

Last, are the online trophies. Without a boosting partner, these can take quite a bit of your time - especially the Download Complete, which requires you to reach level 50. Expect to be playing anywhere between 35 to 50 hours, depending on your skills. However, with a boosting partner, you can cut this down to only 8 to 15 hours. Check out the Forum in our Links page to find a boosting partner, if you don't want to do this on your own.

Assassin’s Creed II PS4

Assassin's Creed II is a third-person, action adventure game, blending science-fiction with historical drama. It continues the story of Desmond Miles in the year 2012, who is being forced by Abstergo Industries to reveal his genetic memories. The game was originally released on the PlayStation 3 in 2009, and ported onto the PlayStation 4 in November 2016 as part of The Ezio Collection.

Continuing immediately after the first game, Desmond breaks out of Abstergo Industries through the help of Lucy Stillman, a mole in the company, and taken to a safehouse where he is requested to use their own Animus to uncover the memories of another assassin, Ezio Auditore de Firenze. Similar to the first game, the story switches between Ezio and Desmond.

Unlike the first Assassin's Creed, the second builds on fighting techniques and challenges, engrossing the player further into the game - rather than feeding everything in the beginning, then simply repeating the same challenges over and over. The sequel has been hailed as a far superior to its original, and received average scores of 91% by most online gaming magazines.

Not an overtly time-consuming platinum. Many trophies are story based, a few are simple challenges, while others - such as Sweeper - require a bit more effort. Although many you may even stumble upon by accident.

The In Memory of Petruccio trophy requires you to hunt down and collect all 100 feathers around town. This can take a bit of time, but as long as you follow the guides in our Links page, you shouldn't have to spend too much time.

Overall, a very average 2-star rated Platinum.

NOTE: The trophies for the PS4 version are separate from those on the PS3.

The platinum should be obtainable in one playthrough. What's nice about this game, is that once you've completed the story (and collected a good majority of the trophies along the way) you can still continue running around, collecting things and buying upgrades and paintings.

So, start by playing through the game without much worry. The only missable trophy is Fly Swatter, in which you need to kick a guard over the edge while using the flying machine in Sequence 8. This is fairly easy to do, and if you don't get it, simply crash yourself and try again.

Once you've completed the story, simply mop up any trophies you missed.
