Blur

Blur is a racing game with a style in cross between Ridge Racer and Mario Kart. Players can select from real world cars, such as the Dodge Viper and Ford Transit, and race in various locals, collecting "fan points" as well as power-ups. The game includes online play, as well as 4-player split-screen.

Overall reviews were fairly positive, with an average score of 83%. Mostly praised for its online experience, the game was occasionally criticized for its repetitive offline mode.

This is actually a high 3-star rating, due to the online trophies - the ease of which will be determined by your skills versus other players. Also, you'll need three extra controllers for an offline trophy. In addition, there are two trophies which require a "friend" to have this game.

A fair bit of skill is required for this Platinum, as well as time. Expect to put in over 50 hours of gaming for this puppy.

As far as trophies go, things are rather straight forward. Just keep playing and "blinging" out those trophies. If you're in need of a roadmap, we suggest starting with the offline trophies in order to get a feel for the game, before embarking on the online challenges.

To make things less frustrating, we recommend beginning on Easy singleplayer, and start collecting all such trophies available. If any races are difficult to come in first, you can always return when you have a better car. Afterwards, you will have to play again on Hard. Please check the Blur trophy guide links under our Links tab for further details.

You will require someone in your friend's list to have this game, in order to get the Friendly Competition and Friendly Make Better Enemies trophies. So, either convince your buddies to buy/rent the game, or start making friends online. Or, you can check out the Boosting Forum under our Links tab.
