Fairytale Fights

Fairytale Fights is a hack-and-slash platform game, somewhat in style to LittleBigPlanet and Fat Princess. Players select one of four fairytale characters and fight through each level while using 140 different possible weapons. The game also includes online co-op and competitive play.

Player-characters include Little Red Riding Hood, the Naked Emperor, Snow White, and Jack and the beanstalk, battling through Taleville, the land of fairytales, in order to restore their name to fame.

Fairytale Fights received mainly low reviews, with an average score of 54%, criticized for technical issues, such as awkward camera, unreliable controls, and several glitches.

With unlimited lives and a chapter select, the platinum does not require above average skills. However, this 2-star rating is due to the amount of time required. Six full playthroughs - since the difficulty-related trophies are not stackable - as well as a lot of grinding afterwards, which can get tedious.

Overall, expect around 30 hours of gameplay on this one.

In order to save yourself time in the long run, we recommend starting on Easy (the difficulty-related trophies are not stackable, anyway) and spending your first playthrough collecting every treasure chest and weapon. Also, if possible, aim to achieve an A grade on each chapter, to save from having to use the chapter select later on.

Next, just get through your next 5 playthroughs. This involves playing on Medium and Hard in single player, and Easy, Medium and Hard on multiplayer. You have the option of doing the multiplayer online, or plugging in a second controller.

Once you've completed your total of 6 playthroughs, you'll need to work on the arena-related trophies. Again, here is where a second controller really comes in handy. Check out the Fairytale Fights trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details.

After which, mop-up any remaining trophies, and you're done.
