Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is a third-person action adventure, based on the 2011 film Green Lantern, which in turn is adapted from the DC Comic. The game includes 3D visuals, and features many of the same voice talents from the actors in the film, including Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern.

The Manhunters, an android race created to serve as an interstellar police force, were banished after preferring to administer punishment rather than serve justice. Now, the Manhunters have returned and are looking for revenge, and only the Green Lantern Corp can stop them.

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 60%, stated to have average graphics, presentation, and being overall a merely satisfactory game with no particular flaws nor mind-blowing aspects.

A fairly easy Platinum, and pretty standard as most movie-adapted game titles go. No online trophies to worry about. Only one playthrough if you select hard mode, which isn't very difficult, with some collectibles to find along the way, and a chapter select to mop-up afterwards.

Overall, should take around 10 hours to plat.

The fastest way to that platinum, is to select Emerald Knight difficulty, which is the hard mode of the game. Compared to hard modes of other games, Emerald Knight is not that difficult. If you have trouble with some of the boss battles, here's a nice little trick: plug in and activate a second controller to create a player two. If you die, simply grab the second controller and run around until your first player respawns after 10 seconds.

During your playthrough, you'll want to follow one of the walkthroughs or collectible guides in our Links page, to nab the 5 Blue Meteorites, and 9 Green Meteorites.

Once you've finished the game, you can use the Chapter Select to mop-up any trophies you missed. This will probably include purchasing all the upgrades, in which case we recommend replaying the last level over and over on Poozer difficulty to grind for energy.

Then, that's it. A shiny new Platinum to your collection!
