Red Faction: Guerrilla

Red Faction: Guerrilla is a third-person open-world action adventure, and the third installment in the Red Faction series which began on the PlayStation 2 and PC. The game takes place on a terraformed area of Mars, in which players must free each of six locations from the Earth Defense Force. The game also includes an online multiplayer mode.

Due to a lack of Earth's natural resources, the EDF has turned to Mars, forcing the society into a state of unfree labor. Alec Mason, a mining engineer, arrives on Mars and is talked into joining the Red Faction by his brother into freeing the planet from EDF's control.

Red Faction: Guerrilla received positive reviews, with an average score of 86%. Despite being criticized for its weak story and graphics, the game was highly praised for its overall fun.

With boosting, it's possible to bring this down to a high 3-star rating, though the online trophies will still take vast amounts of time. But given the game's age, even finding players to earn the online trophies legitimately with, will prove to be a challenge. Plus, there are a few offline trophies that will require some skills and patience.

If you're doing this legitimately, expect over 250 hours of gameplay. If you happen to have a good team of boosting buddies, the Platinum could be unlocked after around 150 hours or so.

You can start, of course, by going through the Campaign. As long as the missions are unlocked, they can be done in any order, except for the final one. You'll want to focus on completing Guerrilla Actions during your playthrough, as you'll eventually need 50 completed for the Revolutionary trophy. Also, there are some collectibles to find, such as radio tags, ore locations, billboards to destroy, and small hydrogen blue tanks. Check out the location guides under our Links tab.

The Warp Speed trophy can seem pretty difficult, as you will need to beat the pro times listed in getting your vehicle to a safe house. Check out the videos under the Links tab to find some shortcuts that will shave off your time. Also, Got Any Fingers Left? isn't a piece of cake, either. Again, check out the videos for demonstrations to help you.

Once you're done with the Campaign and have mopped-up all its trophies, you can head into Wrecking Crew, where you'll need to play on each of the 10 maps in order to unlock the Can't Get Enough trophy, and score 25 million points worth of damage for the Wrecking Ball trophy.

As you start working on the online trophies, the most time-consuming one will be War Veteran, in which you'll need to earn 100,000 XP. This will probably take you over 100 hours of gameplay, depending on your skills and luck at finding players to play with. Most of the other online trophies will unlock naturally as you make your way towards this trophy. Also, it should be noted that winning 250 matchmaking games for the A Winner Is You trophy can't be done through custom matches.

Good luck!
