Sly 2: Band of Thieves

Originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004, Sly 2: Band of Thieves was revamped in HD with trophy support as part of The Sly Collection for the Playstation 3 in 2010, which includes all three Sly Cooper titles, plus mini-games. The game is a third-person stealth platformer in which the player alternates between playing three different characters, and is a sequel to Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.

Two years after having defeated Clockwerk and collected the remaining pages of the Thievius Raccoonus, Clockwerk's parts have been broken up and stolen by several Klaww Gang members. Sly and his team must travel to different countries and steal back the Clockwerk parts, destroying them so that he may never return.

Like its predecessor, Sly 2: Band of Thieves received positive reviews from numerous game critics, with an average score of 86%, praised for its interesting story, unique graphics, and overall fun, while criticized for lack of difficulty.

If you've already Platinumed the previous Sly Cooper game, then you should know what's in store for the sequel. The good news is, you needn't find every clue bottle this time - only 30 out of a possible 240, which can easily be done in the first level.

The rest of the trophies are the same: farm for coins to purchase gadgets, complete the levels and defeat their bosses. The Platinum can be earned in one playthrough, which should take you between 10 to 15 hours, depending on your skills.

Since you don't need to find ALL the clue bottles in the game, a walkthrough isn't necessary unless you get stuck on a level. For the most part, you simply just need to play from beginning to end, earning all the story-related trophies. You only need to collect 30 clue bottles, which you can do on the first level.

Other objectives include purchasing all the gadgets for their respective trophies. Not all of them are necessary, so check out the Sly 2 Band of Thieves trophy guide links under our Links tab to see which gadgets you need. These are bought by coins which you either find from smashing objects, pick-pocketing enemies, or destroying them. Pick-pocketing is recommended for farming, as sometimes you may find a gem worth a fair amount of coins. Also, if you don't care about the gadgets - just the trophies - then you can purchase a gadget, get the trophy, then reload the game without saving and purchase the next available gadget.
