Tales of Graces f

Tales of Graces f is a Japanese RPG, based on the original Tales of Graces for the Nintendo Wii, and is the 12th title in the Tales series which began on the Super Nintendo in 1995. Battles involve up to four party members, in which characters not controlled by the player are operated by the AI based on previously set instructions by the player.

Taking place in Ephinea, a fictional world divided into the three countries of Windor, Stratha, and Fendel, Asbel and his childhood friends find themselves drawn into a civil war as the three countries compete for the valuable substance known as Cryas, which allows civilizations to develop and prosper.

Tales of Grace f received mainly positive reviews, with an average score of 77%, praised for its battle system, yet criticized for its small world to explore, and receiving mixed reviews on its graphics and story.

As you might expect from a J-RPG, Tales of Graces f isn't particularly difficult in terms of skill. However, the game does demand some strategic planning, and a whole lot of time. But with the guides under our Links tab and dedication, any average player should be able to unlock the Platinum.

Expect anywhere between 145-175 hours of gameplay for the Platinum.

While it's technically possible to unlock all the trophies in one playthrough, it's also extremely difficult, mainly due to the requirements of defeating bosses in 60 seconds. Instead, we highly recommend doing this in at least two playthroughs, in which all the Grade you earned will carry over in a New Game+. It should also be noted that shards will carry over, but not weapons or armor. Keep this in mind when you're deciding which playthrough to do the Inn Requests.

For your first playthrough, you can simply enjoy the game and get from beginning to end if you wish. However, if you want to spend this playthrough getting the most Grade possible - which is necessary if you are hoping to avoid three playthroughs - then be sure to follow one of the walkthroughs under our Links tab so as to avoid missing any side-quests. Also, if you are planning on doing the Inn Requests in your second playthrough, remember not to dualize any of the shards.

Once that's done, you can start a New Game+. For the A Gentlemanly Triumph trophy, make sure to complete the Lhant Inn Request (getting the Beloved Handkerchief for Frederic) before entering Ghardia Shaft, otherwise this trophy will become misable. Also, you will need the 2x Exp, 5x Exp, 2x SP, 2x Critical, 2x Damage, and 5x Damage for defeating the bosses in 60 seconds.

Other than that, try to mop-up any remaining trophies you still need during your second playthrough.

Good luck!
