Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL
Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL is a platform-like fighting game based on characters from various programs on the Cartoon Network. Players select from a wide range of characters to either co-op or battle one another, much in the style of Super Smash Bros.
A rift in the fabric of space/time has caused the world of different Cartoon Network programs to collide. Ben Tennyson is warped to Chawder's world, in search of his nemesis Vilgax who is invading Marzipan City, while reaming up with other CN characters. The game includes characters from Ben 10, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, The Powerpuff Girls, Captain Planet, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory, and many others.
The game received negative to mixed reviews with an average score of 48%, criticized for being a rip-off of Super Smash Bros., as well as for being overall boring.
Not time consuming at all, and requires only an average amount of skills, and a bit of luck. For the most part, you only need to play through the game from beginning to end, then do some mopping-up afterwards. Having more than one controller will also make things easier
Overall, should take roughly between 6-10 hours, depending on your skills and luck.
If you're in a rush for that Platinum, select Hard difficulty mode, and make your way to the end of the story. There are a number of story-related trophies, as well as a few others which you can collect along the way. Check out the Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL trophy guide links under our Links tab for further details.
Afterwards, it's simply a matter of using the chapter select to mop-up the remaining trophies you're missing, including the Battle mode trophies, and collecting all the costumes.
If you have the patience to get through this game in one go, you can easily acquire the Platinum over a weekend.
