Shrek Forever After
Shrek Forever After, also known as Shrek 4, and Shrek Forever After: The Final Chapter, is a third-person action adventure, based on the 2010 film of the same name. Player-characters include Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and Puss in Boots. The game supports 4-player co-op, as players battle enemies and solve puzzles.
Following the same story-line as the film, Shrek has become domesticated, and while happily married and a father, misses the good old days of being a true, scary ogre. After being tricked by Rumpelstiltskin, Shrek finds himself in an alternate universe where ogres are hunted and Rumplestiltskin is king. Shrek must save his friends and return to the world he remembers.
Shrek Forever After received generally positive reviews, with an average score of 74%, praised for staying true to its source and being generally entertaining for children, though containing several long, boring stages.
As you would expect from a game based on an animated film directed at children, the game is an easy and reasonably quick platinum. One full playthrough, plus a chapter select to mop-up anything you're missing, including some obvious collectibles and a few combat-related trophies.
Overall, expect around 10 hours for the Platinum.
First, you'll simply want to play through the game from beginning to end. While there are collectibles to find, you won't be able to gather all of them in the beginning, until you've unlocked certain abilities. You can, if you wish, work on unlocking some of the combat-related trophies. But since there's a chapter select, nothing is missable. So if you just want to enjoy the game, feel free to do so.
Once you've completed your playthrough, you can now use the chapter select to mop-up the things you've missed. Most likely, this will include finding all the collectibles and acquiring 100% on each level, as well as any combat-related trophies you may not have picked up in your first playthrough.
