Monopoly Streets
Monopoly Streets is a video game based on the Hasbro board game Monopoly. The game allows for alternative views between top-down of the board, and down to a 3D version. Up to four players can play offline or online, with customized rules.
Monopoly Streets received fairly positive reviews, with an average score of 76%, praised for its overall fun and staying true to the original Monopoly game, though criticized for its redundant sounds and lack of presentation appeal.
This is a high 2-star rating, and is mainly due to the 9 online trophies, which includes winning ten online games, and various other challenges. However, with a boosting partner, this difficulty rating could be brought down to a 1-star. The offline trophies are quite easy, though a few are based on luck, which means several rounds of Monopoly until you've unlocked them randomly.
Overall, expect over 20 hours if you're doing the online on your own, and far less if you have a boosting partner.
You'll need to win 10 offline games in order to unlock the Building The Empire trophy. During this process, particularly in your first playthrough, you can easily unlock a number of miscellaneous trophies. Check out the Monopoly Streets trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what to work on. A few trophies are accumulative, such as Subdivision for building 500 houses, while others are luck-based, such as Bypass Bail for rolling doubles to get out of jail. Hopefully, these will all eventually unlock during your 10 playthroughs. Also, make sure one of your games is set to three AI on Hard mode - and win - in order to unlock the Needs A New Challenge trophy.
Once you've got all the offline trophies complete, there are the 9 online ones to worry about. These are far easier to do if you have a boosting partner, as some require certain conditions such as owning all the railroads and utilities for the I Can Do This Without Houses trophy, as well as having to win 10 online games for the Taking Over The World trophy. Check out the boosting forums under our Links tab if that's the route you want to take. Otherwise, these online trophies are always possible on your own - they'll just take much more time, and hope that you don't get disconnected during the game.
