Skylanders: SuperChargers

Skylanders: SuperChargers is an action platformer with RPG and driving elements. Like its predecessors, the game is a "toy-to-life" where players place toy figures on the Portal of Power which allows them to be playable characters in-game. The newly introduced vehicles are diviced into land, sea, and sky vehicles.

The evil Kaos has unleashed the Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction, and only a special team can stop it. The SuperChargers have taken to the land, sea, and air, to stop Kaos' evil plan.

Skylanders: SuperChargers received positive reviews with an average score of 81%, praised for its level designs, added vehicle driving element, and overall fun.

The game is fairly average in terms of both difficulty and time required. At least one playthrough on Nightmare difficulty is required, which may be challenging at times but certainly doable. Of course, the more Skylanders you have, the easier the game becomes. The online trophy can be unlocked locally with a second controller or a PlayStation Vita.

Expect roughly 30 hours for the Platinum, depending on your skills.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

Start by simply going through the story. Nightmare mode, which is the most difficult level in the game, is available from the beginning. So if you wish to avoid a second playthrough for the Eon's Elite trophy, and are confident in your skills, feel free to start with that. The difficulty not only depends on your skills, but how many Skylanders you have. Having 15 or more will certainly make things easier, though if you are only using the starter pack, you'll need to be careful and patient.

During your initial playthrough, you should unlock all the story-related trophies, as well as a few others naturally.

After that, it's time to mop up everything else you're missing. This will include the Academy related trophies, replaying missions for anything you missed, and collecting 12 emblems for the Ooh Shiny trophy. There are 16 emblems in the game, and while you only need 12, you'll be limited by the vehicles you own.

For the Road Trip trophy, you don't need to go online if you have a second controller or a PS Vita.
