Skylanders: SuperChargers

Skylanders: SuperChargers is an action platformer with RPG and driving elements. Like its predecessors, the game is a "toy-to-life" where players place toy figures on the Portal of Power which allows them to be playable characters in-game. The newly introduced vehicles are diviced into land, sea, and sky vehicles.

The evil Kaos has unleashed the Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction, and only a special team can stop it. The SuperChargers have taken to the land, sea, and air, to stop Kaos' evil plan.

Skylanders: SuperChargers received positive reviews with an average score of 81%, praised for its level designs, added vehicle driving element, and overall fun.

The game is fairly average in terms of both difficulty and time required. At least one playthrough on Nightmare difficulty is required, which may be challenging at times but certainly doable. Of course, the more Skylanders you have, the easier the game becomes. The online trophy can be unlocked locally with a second controller or a PlayStation Vita.

Expect roughly 30 hours for the Platinum, depending on your skills.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 have a separate list from those on the PS3.

Start by simply going through the story. Nightmare mode, which is the most difficult level in the game, is available from the beginning. So if you wish to avoid a second playthrough for the Eon's Elite trophy, and are confident in your skills, feel free to start with that. The difficulty not only depends on your skills, but how many Skylanders you have. Having 15 or more will certainly make things easier, though if you are only using the starter pack, you'll need to be careful and patient.

During your initial playthrough, you should unlock all the story-related trophies, as well as a few others naturally.

After that, it's time to mop up everything else you're missing. This will include the Academy related trophies, replaying missions for anything you missed, and collecting 12 emblems for the Ooh Shiny trophy. There are 16 emblems in the game, and while you only need 12, you'll be limited by the vehicles you own.

For the Road Trip trophy, you don't need to go online if you have a second controller or a PS Vita.

Guitar Hero Smash Hits Trophy Guide

Guitar hero Smash Hits Trophy Guide. Difficulty: n/o  A music rhythm game and the fourth in the Guitar Hero series. Since the servers were shut down in September 2013, the online trophies – and therefore, the Platinum – are now Not Obtainable.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is a music rhythm game, and the fourth expansion title in the Guitar Hero series. The game includes 48 song tracks, all of which have been previously featured in other Guitar Hero titles, though redesigned to be played with a full band, which includes guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocal.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits received mixed reviews, praised for the song selection and full-band experience, but highly criticized for being a full-cost standalone title, rather than simply downloadable content.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits, which was originally extremely difficult to Platinum, possesses 8 online trophies. Unfortunately, the servers went down in September 2013. After a brief reopening in December, they closed again, and have not since been reopened. As a result, those 8 online trophies can no longer be unlocked, making the Platinum for this game Not Obtainable.

With the servers down since late 2013, the 8 online trophies cannot be unlocked, marking this Platinum as Not Obtainable. However, there are still 42 offline trophies you can collect. So if you're interested, read on.

There are a few easy trophies you can unlock from the start. First, play through the tutorial and you'll unlock Rocker's Guide To Godhood. Then, create yourself a custom rocker and guitar to get their respected trophies, as well as a band with a custom logo.

Next, you can start on making your way through Career mode. Begin on whichever difficulty setting you're comfortable with, but it's recommended you move it up a notch as your skills improve, to better train you for the more difficult trophies ahead.

Eventually, you'll need to complete Career mode again, this time on Expert. You'll also need all four instruments (and some friends) in order to unlock The Greatest Crew for completing a song with a full band on Expert.

Also, at some point, you'll need to complete the Career in a band for the Rock Legends trophy. This doesn't need to be a full band, but with at least 2 players.

Once all your Career related trophies are out of the way, you can select Quick Play and mop-up any of the offline trophies you're still missing.

Spider-Man Edge of Time Trophy Guide

Spider-Man Edge of Time Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A third-person action and indirect sequel to the 2010 Spider-Man: Shattered Dreams. The Platinum requires two playthroughs, one on Hard mode, though doable for any average player.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time

Spider-Man: Edge of Time is a third-person action game, and an indirect sequel to the 2010 Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Like in previous Spider-Man titles, players can upgrade their characters with XP earned by completing mini-challenges. The game features both the present-day Spider-Man, as well as Spider-Man 2099 as playable characters.

After the death of Spider-Man, the story flashes back to Spider-Man 2099, who learns that Alchemax scientist Walter Sloan is travelling back in time to establish Alchemax. In an effort to stop him, both present-day and 2099 Spider-Men must work together by causing events that affect the timeline in their favor.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time received mixed reviews, with an average score of 61%, with some reviewers praising the story and voice acting, but criticizing the game's repetition and overall departure from the original gameplay formula.

The difficulty for this game is pretty average. You'll need 2 full playthroughs, one on Normal and one on Hard mode. There are a good number of collectibles throughout the game, though a Chapter Select is available, which means nothing is missable.

An average player could obtain this Platinum in around 25 hours or so.

You'll first want to play through the game on Normal difficulty. Here, you'll be naturally unlocking a vast majority of the trophies that are story-related, as well as a few others. There are a number of collectibles you can be searching for during your first playthrough, if you choose to. These include hidden Golden Spiders, Portal Energy for upgrades, Newspapers, and the Web of Challenges. Check out the locations guide under our Links tab to find these if you plan to search for them during your playthrough. However, keep note that there is a Chapter Select after completing the game.

Next, if you haven't already done so, you can use the Chapter Select to obtain any collectibles you may have missed during your first playthrough. You can also use this opportunity to complete the Web of Challenges. If you're having any trouble with these, check out the guides under our Links tab for some tips. Lastly, you can mop-up any other trophies you're still missing at this point as well, with the exception of the Master Of All You Survey trophy.

Last, load up the game on Hard difficulty, and play through to the end. This should net you the Master Of All You Survey trophy, and hopefully the last one to unlock the Platinum.

Monsters vs Aliens Trophy Guide

Monsters vs Aliens Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  A third-person action platformer based on the Dreamworks animated film of the same name. A little frustrating at times, and may require two playthroughs, though overall the Platinum is average in difficulty.

Monsters vs. Aliens ** 46 Beenox Canada 36 5 4 0 0

Monsters vs. Aliens

Monsters vs. Aliens is a third-person action platformer, based on the Dreamworks film of the same name. Taking control of either B.O.B., Ginormica, Missing Link, or Dr. Cockroach, players use each of the monster's unique abilities to battle enemies. The game reprises the roles of Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, and Rainn Wilson, and includes drop-in co-op.

The game received moderate reviews, with an average score of 61%, praised for its superior presentation and voice acting compared with other film-adapted games, but criticized for its repetitiveness.

If you have a friend to co-op, it's possible to complete this game in one playthrough, plus with some mopping up. If not, it may require two playthroughs. Also, some of the monster challenges can be frustrating at times.

Overall, this is a low 2-star rating, but certainly more challenging than most games based on kids films, such as Rango or Megamind. Depending on how many playthroughs you do, will probably take between 10-18 hours for the Platinum.

If you wish to avoid more than one playthrough for this game, then we recommend focusing on getting the Remember The Heroes trophy, which involves completing the entire game without failing more than 10 times. In this case, failing means dying either by losing all your health or falling off a platform. The best way to stay under 10 failings is to quit the game immediately and reload your last save. Do not quit via the pause button, as the game will automatically save your progress. Instead, hit the PS button on your controller and exit the game.

Also, once you complete the game, remember to watch all the credits for the Stay Put And Watch trophy.

Once you've finished your playthrough and earned the Remember The Heroes trophy, you should have the majority of them by now. The last step simply involves mopping-up anything you've missed through the chapter select, such as collecting 500,000 DNA particles for the Never Say Enough, any co-op related trophies, and of course the Monster challenges.
