Christmas is a month away, and looks like Sony put PlayStation Plus members on the “nice” list, because they will be giving out five freebies this round. Here is the PlayStation Plus free games December 2025 line up, which will be available for download on Tuesday, December 2.
First, for the PS5, there’s LEGO Horizon Adventures a LEGO-version spit-off the the Horizon series. The game retells the story of Horizon Zero Dawn, but with a typical LEGO family-friendly narrative, and include many of the original voice actors from the Horizon series.
Next, also for the PS5, there’s Synduality: Echo of Ada, a third-person shooter developed by Game Studio and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Set in a post-apocalyptic world following a poisonous rain which wiped out most of human life, mech-piloting survivors search for rare crystals which are necessary for humanity’s survival.
Also, for the PS5, there’s Killing Floor 3, the first-person survival horror shooter by Tripwire Interactive, and sequel to its 2016 predecessor. Featuring both solo and cooperative multiplayer with up to six players, waves of bioengineered monsters known as Zeds must be destroyed in a series of rounds.
For both the PS4 and PS5, there’s The Outlast Trials, a first-person psychological survival horror, which serves as a prequel to the 2013 Outlast. Select either single-player or up to four-player cooperative mode, players must evade enemies and traps while completing several different objectives.
Finally, for both the PS4 and PS5, there’s Neon White, a first-person shooter with puzzle and platforming elements, developed by Angel Matrix and published by Annapurna Interactive. First released in 2022, players play as sinners known as Neons, who cleans Heaven of its demons for the chance to stay.
All titles in the PlayStation Plus free games December 2025 line-up have platinum trophies to unlock.
Among then, LEGO Horizon Adventures is by far the easiest platinum. The game can be played on any difficulty mode, and other than having to do some grinding, the platinum can be obtained in roughly 15-20 hours.
Next, The Outlast Trials is about average in terms of difficulty, and will need a trophy guide to figure out the requirements for each trophy. The platinum can be unlocked after about 25-30 hours of gameplay.
Obtaining the platinum for Killing Floor 3 is not an easy task, and will depend highly on your skills, as well as the skills of your teammates, and some luck. Expect around 40-50 hours of gameplay for this platinum.
Perhaps the most difficult platinum in this list is for Neon White, particularly because the requirement for one trophy is to complete 97 levels on a single life. This means, reloading whenever you die. Expect around 45-55 hours of gameplay, depending on your skills.
Lastly, there does not seem to be much information regarding the difficulty, or time required, for unlocking the platinum for Synduality: Echo of Ada. However, it is been confirmed that there are online trophies, and requires a lot of farming.
