NHL 10

NHL 10 is a hockey video game under license from the National Hockey League, and is the 19th title in the NHL series published under EA Sports. The game includes both the standard NHL and AHL leagues, as well as leagues from Sweden, Finland, Germany, Czech, and Switzerland.

New features include intimidation tactics which can force opponents to make mistakes, improvements in precision passing, improvements in Goalie AI, improved rendering of fans, as well as a GM mode which allows players to take the role of a team's general manager, and a Battle for the Cup mode.

NHL 10 received very positive reviews, with an average score of 89%, praised for its detailed graphics, presentation, and overall fun gameplay.

NHL 10 was first released in September 2009. Two years later, on October 1, 2011, EA closed its online servers. The game includes 17 online trophies, which are now no longer unlockable, marking the Platinum for this game Not Obtainable.

Unfortunately, the online servers were closed on October 1, 2011, which means the Platinum and the 17 online trophies cannot be unlocked. However, there are still 23 offline trophies which can be had. So if you're interested, read on.

The first trophy you'll automatically unlock is the Eager To Learn, after completing the tutorial.

Next, you can start playing the Battle for the Cup mode. Select an Elite League team, so as to unlock the Battle For The Cup trophy. At any time, you can adjust the sliders to make things easier, and make sure to win at least four out of the seven matches. Also, before starting one of the matches, head into settings and set the controls to NHL 94 Control settings, which will unlock the New Beginnings trophy. During your matches, you'll undoubtedly be unlocking several miscellaneous trophies along the way.

Once that's done, you can start the Be A Pro mode. Here, you can make your own player-character, and unlock equipment during the process, which in turn will unlock a few more trophies. There are several other miscellaneous trophies to be had there, so make sure to check out the NHL 10 trophy guide links under our Links tab for what you need.

Lastly, just mop-up anything you're still missing out of the remaining offline trophies.

Unfortunately, with the servers closed, that's all you can do.

James Bond 007 Blood Stone Trophy Guide

James Bond 007 Blood Stone Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A third-person action and the 24th game in the James Bond series. Some offline trophies can be tricky, while the online are incredibly time consuming without boosting.

James Bond 007: Blood Stone

James Bond 007: Blood Stone is a third-person action title, and the 24th game in the James Bond series. While the character's likeness is based on actor Daniel Craig's version of James Bond, the game is an original story rather than a film adaptation.

Taking place after the events of Quantum of Solace, Bond is sent to investigate and stop Greco, an international terrorist who plans to attack the G-20 Summit in Athens. The mission soon turns to a second, which takes Bond to several locations including Istanbul, Siberia, and Bangkok as he investigates the case of a missing professor once believed to be dead.

James Bond 007: Blood Stone received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 65%, criticized for being an all-round average and mediocre game with no distinct positive or negative qualities.

Considered perhaps the most difficult Platinum of all the James Bond related games, the 4-star rating is mainly due to the ridiculous amount of time and effort required in the online portion of the game. With a boosting partner, this difficulty rating could be brought down to a low 3-star, though will still take a lot of time to complete.

Aside from the 10 online trophies, the game requires two playthroughs, plus some mopping-up via chapter select. Some of the offline trophies can be rather tricky as well, such as completing the game on 007 Difficulty mode, and the Speed Run trophy which involves a car chase.

Without a boosting partner, expect well over a hundred hours on this one. With a boosting partner, perhaps around 50-60 hours.

You'll first need to play and complete the game on any difficulty mode, in order to unlock 007 Difficulty. This is your chance to find all the Intelligence collectibles, as well as focus on some of the kill-related and other miscellaneous trophies. If you miss anything, don't fret.

Now that you've unlocked 007 Difficulty, you can go ahead and start your second playthrough. Again, you can earn any other miscellaneous trophies you missed on your first round if you wish, or wait for the next stage in your hunt for the Platinum. But be warned, 007 Difficulty is no cake-walk.

After that, you can take advantage of the Chapter Select and mop-up any of the offline trophies you still need. Check out the James Bond 007 Blood Stone trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details on what you need.

Last, are the 10 online trophies. And this is where the real grind comes in. The Special Commendation trophy will take you the longest, earning medals which require you to kill 200 enemies with a grenade launcher, or play a total of 500 matches. A boosting partner will certainly cut down your time, but will still require an ample amount of effort.

RUSE Trophy Guide

R.U.S.E. Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A real-time strategy game taking place during World War II. The game and Platinum is quite challenging, with time consuming online trophies if done legitimately.

R.U.S.E.

R.U.S.E. is a real-time strategy game, in the spirit of the Command And Conquer and Total War series, taking place during World War II. The campaign involves both historical and fictional events during the invasion fo Nazi Germany in late 1944. Players must focus their efforts on managing both their economy as well as their units in order to reach success, while also using ruses and decoys to trick their enemies. The game includes online multiplayer for both co-op and competitive gameplay.

Joseph Sheridan joins the U.S. Army and gains control of the First Armored Division. After liberating Colditz Castle in order to free an undercover operative who possesses information regarding the identity of an Axis informer, the story flashes back in which Sheridan engages in the Battle of Monte Cassino, the Utah beach on D-Day, and Operation Market Garden.

R.U.S.E. received mainly positive reviews, with an average score of 77%, praised for its multiplayer, challenge, and overall lasting appeal.

The most time-consuming aspect to this game are the online trophies, and if you're attempting to unlock these legitimately, then they're all the more difficult, marking this platinum with a 4-star rating. However, if you have both online co-op partners as well as boosting buddies, then the difficulty could be brought down to a 3-star, though the game is still no walk in the park. Certainly easier than Tom Clancy's EndWar, but more challenging than other RTS titles.

Expect close to 100 hours of gameplay with boosting, and far more if you're going for the online trophies legitimately.

You can start by working your way through all 23 Missions in the Campaign. From the start, Hard difficulty is available, so if you're in a rush for that Platinum, we recommend beginning there. Completing Mission 23 on Hard difficulty will not only unlock the General Of The Army trophy, but also Brigadier General for easy, and Lieutenant General for medium. Along the way, you'll also be unlocking a number of story-related trophies naturally. Also, keep track of which secondary objectives you manage to complete. This way, you can just focus on those you missed when mopping-up later. Finally, try to use each of the 15 ruses at least once, which will also net you the Cunning trophy after finishing mission 21.

Once you've cleared the campaign, you can start unlocking the battle mode related trophies. You'll first want to start with defeating an AI on hard difficulty with a total victory for the Ace trophy, which will also automatically unlock the Recruit trophy. Then an AI on medium difficulty in all the time periods for the Trooper trophy. Now, there should only be four more AI profiles to beat for the Collector trophy. Last, mop up the battle mode by selecting easy and winning a battle with each of the 6 nations for the Ambassador trophy.

From here, you'll be heading into online. There are a number of operation-related trophies, some of which require an online co-op partner. The others, and more time consuming trophies, are the competitive. If you're looking for either a co-op partner or boosting buddy, check out the forums under our Links tab. Getting a winning streak of 10 in ranked matches for The Great trophy is pretty tricky if done legitimately. Also, keep track of which maps you've played for the Atlas trophy.

Once all of that's out of the way, you can mop-up anything you're still missing. Most likely, this will include reaching level 100 for the War God trophy. Winning battle modes on Hard difficulty is one of the quickest methods for this.

White Knight Chronicles Trophy Guide

White Knight Chronicles Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A J-RPG which uses a real-time battle system taking place in the kingdom of Balandor. Despite the online servers being shut down, the Platinum is still doable with a lot of time and grinding.

White Knight Chronicles

White Knight Chronicles, known as Shirokishi Monogatari: Inishie no Kodo in Japanese, is a J-RPG developed by both Level-5 and SCE Japan Studio. The game uses a real-time battle system that allows players to prepare before fighting, a world map to explore with the ability to warp to previously discovered locations, and an online mode which allows players to help one another. The online servers were shut down on June 18, 2013.

In the kingdom of Balandor, Leonard is attending a coming-of-age banquet for Princess Cisna, when an organization known as the Magi invade and kill King Valtos. Leonard discovers ancient armour that transforms him into the White Knight, allowing him to rescue Princess Cisna and stop the Magi's plans.

White Knight Chronicles received mixed reviews both in Japan and overseas, with an average score for 68%, though was a commercial success. Many reviewers praised the ability to create your own combo attacks, the land to explore, and interesting enemies, but criticized its battle system and online support.

As far as RPGs go, this one takes the cake in terms of patience. White Knight Chronicles originally allowed up to 4 players online to aid you in some difficult quests. However, as of June 18, 2013, the online servers were closed. The Platinum is still doable, but having to play through all the quests and unlock all the trophies will take some serious grinding in a solo game.

Expect well over 600 hours of gameplay for this one.

You'll first want to simply play through the main story. There's nothing missable at this stage, though you won't be earning much in the way of trophies just yet. So simply sit back and play, and enjoy the story, while unlocking all the locations in order to be able to do quests.

Once that's finished, select New Game+ from the main menu. Here, other than whipping through the main story again with ease, you'll be able to find items in treasure chests that will help you with the Guild Rank (GR) 7 and GR8, as well as equipment. Be sure to check out one of the locations and items guides under our Links tab for this.

Next, comes the grinding part. Here you'll want to work on your GR, aiming for an S rank and achieving GR 12. Check out the guides under our Links tab if you're struggling with any of the quests or battles.

After putting in all those hours and reaching GR12, you can finally mop-up any remaining trophies. This might include Gold Coin Purse, Phibianacci's Diamond, and Perfectionist's Badge, depending on how you played the game. Just keep grinding for guilder and items, until they're unlocked. And you'll have a Platinum to be proud of.

NCAA Football 10

NCAA Football 10 is a college football game licensed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and is the 13th title in the NCAA Football series. New features include a career mode with web-based games and trivia challenges called Season Showdown, Teambuilder where players can create their own teams with custom rosters and uniforms, Road to Glory mode where a high school student is making his way up through college, as well as new game animations, and graphic details such as player's stocks and stadium camera flashes.

NCAA Football 10 received mainly positive reviews, with an average score of 81%, praised for its presentation and overall fun for football fans, though criticized by some for not being relatively different from its predecessor.

NCAA Football 10 was first released in July 2009, and included six online trophies. Unfortunately, the online servers were shut down on August 11, 2011, which means these six trophies can no longer be unlocked. Therefore, the Platinum for this game is now Not Obtainable.

There are six online trophies in NCAA Football 10. Unfortunately, since the online servers were shut down on August 11, 2011, those six trophies - as well as the Platinum, are Not Obtainable. However, there are still 41 offline trophies that can be unlocked, so if you're still interested, then read on.

You'll first want to head into Season Showdown and chose your team, so that you can start earning credits and build your levels.

Once that's done, you can start working on the Dynasty mode and Exhibition trophies. You'll need to play several different dynasties to unlock all their related trophies. Also, note that recruiting is easier if you select one of the big nine schools (Alabama, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, or USC). For the most part, the majority of these trophies are quite easy, with many of them unlocking naturally during the course of your game.

After all the Dynasty mode and Exhibition trophies are out of the way, it's time to head into Road to Glory, where you begin as a high school student and making your way up through college. One of the trickier trophies is the Freshman Phenom, in which you'll need to win the Heisman Memorial. If you're going for this in Road to Glory, it's easier to play as an existing running back player, with adjusted AI defense levels.

After that, simply mop-up any last remaining offline trophies that you still need. Be sure to check the NCAA Football 10 trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need, and what their requirements are.

Unfortunately, with the online servers closed, this is as far as we can go.
