Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is a 3D fighting game, based on the Dragon Ball anime and manga franchise, and a sequel to the 2009 Dragon Ball: Raging Blast. Replacing the story mode, Raging Blast 2 features a Galaxy Mode in which characters are represented by planets, each including their own mission paths. Like its prequel, the game also includes an online multiplayer mode.

Despite high sales in Japan, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 received mixed reviews with an average score of 60%. Praised for its graphics on the characters and in some ways an overall improvement from the prequel, the game was also criticized for not having a story mode, and complex game mechanics.

The trophies are far less frustrating than those on the prequel. However, the Platinum is still quite time consuming, as you need to collect all costumes and items, as well as the 100 titles in multiplayer. This time, there are 5 online trophies, which are possible to acquire on your own if you have the skills. Having a boosting partner, however, will make these trophies quicker and easier to collect.

If you possess some serious skills, it's possible to obtain the Platinum in around 40 hours. Otherwise, expect far more time.

Regardless if this is your first time playing a Raging Blast title or not, there are two trophies which you can unlock while running through the tutorial, so you may as well start there to collect Fundamentals Are Vital, and Fruits Of Training.

Next, head into Galaxy Mode and start working on unlocking a large chunk of trophies by playing through with each character. To avoid future hassle, we recommend writing down which missions you received a golden Cleared, so that you know which ones will need repeating.

After that, there's a Battle Zone, which includes six trophies to unlock. Keep in mind that for the Stamp Rally trophy, equipping items that help you can also harm you statistically.

Hopefully by now, you skills have been improving. So when you head into World Tournament, set the difficulty to Hard to unlock the W. Tournament True Champ, in addition to the other three trophies.

Last, the remaining offline trophies can either be earned in Battle Mode, or through mopping up depending on what you're still missing at this point. Check out the Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 trophy guide links under our Links tab for details on anything you still need to unlock.

With the offline trophies completed and your skills at an all-time high, you can move onto multiplayer to unlock the last few trophies. As we mentioned earlier, these are far less frustrating than those on the prequel, but will still require a fair amount of time - especially if you care completing these legitimately. Otherwise, make some friends online and get boosting, or check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast is a 3D fighting game, based on the manga and anime franchise of Dragon Ball. The game uses cel-shaded graphics, and in story mode, allows the player to re-enact specific events of the Dragon Ball story, from the Saiyan Saga to the Kid Buu Saga, while the result of the battle can alter the story. Also included are "what-if" scenarios that never occurred in the story. The game includes a Dojo for practice, and an online mode which allows up to 16 players.

Despite possessing reasonable sales, the game received mixed to negative reviews, with an average score of 63%, praised for its multiplayer but criticized mainly for its game mechanics.

Some very challenging, and time consuming trophies which require serious skills. Also, there are 6 online trophies that, if done legitimately, will take forever. Having a boosting partner could bring this rating down to a 3-star, but even still some of the offline trophies, such as All Ruined, will give you a run for your money.

For someone with great skills and a boosting partner, this could take about 40-50 hours to complete. Anyone new to the Dragon Ball fighting series, or are planning on getting the online trophies without a partner, will take far longer.

First, there are four trophies which you can earn by completing the training in the Dojo, so that's a good place to start. In addition to the trophies, you'll be learning all the moves and preparing yourself for what lies ahead.

Once that's finished, you can start on the main story in Dragon Ball Collection. Here's the meat of the offline trophies, in which you'll be collecting stars and unlocking items and characters. Check out the Dragon Ball Raging Blast trophy guide links under our Links tab for specific details to whichever trophies you're aiming for.

You'll then need to move onto the World Tournament, where you'll continue to unlock items, as well as prize items which relate to the difficulty level you're playing. Again, check the trophy guides for specific details.

Before starting the Super Battle Trial, we recommend moving onto the Online trophies. As we mentioned earlier, doing this legitimately will be difficult, particularly when trying to collect all 30 titles for the 30 Titles Achieved trophy. So you may wish to start making friends online, or use the boosting forum in our Links page to find yourself a partner.

Once that's done, you can collect the few remaining trophies by moving onto the Super Battle Trials. These are very challenging, which is why we recommend saving them till last, when your character is completely customized.

Good luck!

Dragon Age Origins Trophy Guide

Dragon Age Origins Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A third-person RPG in a fantasy setting, involving an epic battle against the Dark Spawn. With the exception of one easily missable trophy, the Platinum is more time consuming than difficult.

Dragon Age: Origins *** 51 BioWare Canada 42 5 3 0 26

Dragon Age: Origins

In the spirit of classic Dungeons & Dragons, you select one of six characters - each with their own origin story - and are enlisted in the Grey Wardens, soldiers dedicated to battling the dark spawn. With the Blight on its way, you must stop a civil war, bring the races together, have sex with multiple men and women, and drive the dark spawn back to which they came.

In peace, vigilance. In war, victory. In death, sacrifice.

Compared with other RPGs, the time required to obtain the Platinum is roughly equal to Fallout, but no where near as time-consuming as Final Fantasy XIII. Most of the trophies are story-based, often one for each choice taken (which will require at least 2 playthroughs to get them all) as well as trophies for your character reaching certain levels and killing so many enemies. Also, the Traveler trophy is easily missable and, if missed, will require another full playthrough. With a fair amount of time, patience and dedication, this Platinum can be yours.

Expect anywhere between 70-100 hours, depending on how many playthroughs are done.

You will more likely have to play through the game at least twice - three times for most people. Each sub-main quest has a trophy for one of two choices, which means playing it through once making particular choices, then playing a second time and selecting the other option.

You will also need to "make love" with all four characters (not in the same game) in order to acquire the Hopeless Romantic trophy. Many have found Zevran and Morrigan to be easier to score with, and are not the jealous type. Tip - don't go nuts giving them tons of gifts. Instead, hold off and let the dialogue take its course for awhile, first.

Make sure, after completing Ostagar and reaching Lothering, that you complete all necessary side quests - as well as pick up two characters, Liliana and Sten - before leaving. Once you continue the main quest, you'll no longer be able to return to Lothering.

For Perfectionist, there are only 3 basic endings - your sacrifice, your friend's sacrifice, and a deal with Morigan. If you're prepared for three playthroughs (which is the least complicated, and necessary for all three "level 20" classes trophy) make sure to select a different outcome at the end, or make a save before the final fight, which you can return to.

For Master Warden and Blight-Queller, killing darkspawn DOES count across your playthroughs. Expect the "bling" three-quarters through your second game. Heavy Hitter is easy when playing as a Rogue. Upgrade your archery skills until you can acquire the "Critical Hit" (picture resembles an arrow striking a skull). Then, just fire at any weak enemy, and - "bling" - trophy!

The most difficult trophy which seems to give most people problems, is Traveler. Every time you enter a new area, make sure you explore each cave, room, dead-end, etc. until the entire map is exposed. Though it's tedious, we recommend going this during your first playthrough - that way you'll have another chance on your second, should you fail to get the trophy.

Carnival Island Trophy Guide

Carnival Island Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A party game using the PlayStation Move controller in over 35 carnival mini-games. Despite being aimed at younger players, many of the trophies are extremely challenging and even frustrating.

Carnival Island **** 36 Magic Pixel Games U.S. 17 14 4 0 0

Carnival Island

Carnival Island is a party game involving the PS Move, in which the player visits a lost and forgotten carnival, restoring its magic by participating in various games and attractions. Up to four players can compete in over 35 mini-games, such as ring-toss, frog-bog, and throw-down, while earning rewards and unlocking areas of the carnival.

Due to the unpopularity of this game, very few online sites have created reviews. Those few that did gave an average score of 64%, praised for having a few fun mini-games which most children can enjoy, but criticized for being an overall thin title.

No, this 4-star rating is not a mistake. Yes, this game is designed for younger players, and yes it is extremely difficult and frustrating to plat. Trophies require you to complete specific challenges at carnival games, and these are not easy. If you dare to go for the Platinum, prepare to do a lot of cursing and pillow-smashing, while avoiding the urge to smash your fist through your TV.

That being said, have fun!

NOTE: On top of the high difficulty level, you will also need 2 Move controllers to acquire all the trophies necessary for the Platinum.

You'll first want to start by going through Story Mode, from beginning to end, in which you'll unlock the majority of the trophies. From there, you have Party Mode to collect 5 other trophies: Any Way, My Way, Every Way, Pass It, and Side-By-Side. Check out the Carnival Island trophy guide links under our Links tab for further details.

The rest is mopping-up, and this is where the frustration will most certainly come in as you need to complete challenges to unlock the remaining trophies. Again, check out the guides under our Links tab for tips and strategies, and above all, be patient. Only the determined and highly skilled (as well as lucky) ones will be claiming this Platinum.

Mindjack Trophy Guide

Mindjack Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A third-person action shooter with a cover system in a futuristic setting and involves mind-hacking. While the offline trophies are average in difficulty, the online ones can be tough without a boosting partner.

Mindjack

Mindjack is a third-person action shooter that incorporates a cover system in a futuristic setting. Aside from battling enemies with standard weapons, players can control weakened enemies and civilians through mind hacking. Online co-op allows players to hack into AI enemies during the story's gameplay.

Agent Jim Corbijn is sent to district 7 to investigate the reports of a shooting, along with human rights activist Rebecca Weiss. After being attacked by government agents, Jim begins searching for the truth behind the rumors of one Project Mindjack.

Mindjack received mainly poor reviews, with an average score of 49%. Though praised for its unique gameplay, many critics panned it for its poor presentation, visuals, and controls.

While there may be a few tricky parts in the campaign, the offline trophies are generally straight forward and a level select makes mopping-up that much easier. However, there are 15 online trophies which, particularly given the age and poor reception of the game, can be quite challenging and time consuming to unlock, hence the 3-star rating. Though with a boosting partner, the difficulty for the platinum could be brought down to a 2-star.

If boosting, expect roughly 20-25 hours for the Platinum, and a lot more if going for the online trophies legitimately.

The first thing you'll want to do is simply play through the game. Since there's a level select, you needn't worry about any missable trophies. However, it would save a bit of time by performing comos whenever possible, and getting headshots to work towards those trophies, as well as building up your XP. Also, it's a good idea to play WITH hackers, in order to work towards those related trophies, as well.

Once you've finished the game, you can start on the online trophies by visiting the Hack Portal in the Main Menu. The most time consuming will be having 100 hackers hack into your game for the Star trophy. You will also need to win 50 times as a blue hacker, and 50 times as a red hacker. If you're having trouble finding people to play with, you may want to check out the boosting forums in our Links page.

Once all the online trophies are covered, it's simply a matter of mopping-up whatever you're still missing. Go through the Mindjack trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you need and how to do it. You may want to save the Guru trophy for last, which involves getting enough XP to reach Level 50. This is quicker to achieve if you have online people to battle against, or for performing head shots.
