Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 Trophy Guide

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3

Red Alert 3 is a real-time strategy-based game in which the player takes the role of one of three factions, and must build armies and collect resources to wipe out the enemy or accomplish specifically assigned objectives. The game also features online play, both competitive and co-op.

After the events of Red Alert 2, the Soviets traveled back in time to remove Albert Einstein, stopping the Allies from creating the atomic bomb. As a result, an alternate universe was created in which the Allies, Soviet Union, and now the Empire of the Rising Sun, are fighting for world domination. The game features such actors as Tim Curry, George Takei, and Jonathan Pryce.

This is another game which, if you have a boosting partner, can be lowered to a 2-star difficulty rating. Half of the trophies are offline, and if you're following one of the guides under our Links tab, you shouldn't have too much trouble.

The online trophies, especially considering this game is getting old, may cause some grief - especially as there are few people still playing this game.

You may wish to start with the offline trophies, to acquaint yourself with the game. Eventually, though, you will need a friend to help with the Dynamic Duo trophy, which requires you to play any 18 co-op games together.

Also, you will need to complete each of the 9 missions per faction bonus objective, for their specified faction. If you fail any of these bonus objectives, you can easily reload previous games and try again.

The remaining half of the trophies involve playing ranked or skirmish games online. Again, these are much easier if you have a boosting buddy. We've posted links to a forum under our Links tab where you may be able to find someone willing to help you out.

Clash of the Titans Trophy Guide

Clash of the Titans Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A third-person action based on the 2010 remake film of the same name. The game possesses some challenging trophies, and requires some stages to be replayed multiple times.

Clash of the Titans

Based on the 2010 remake of the film Clash of the Titans, the game is a third-person action which follows the same storyline as the film. Gameplay is hack-and-slash, in a similar style to the God of War series, in which players take the role of Perseus who must find a way to make peace with the Greek gods and destroy the Kraken that has been set loose against the mortals.

The game received rather negative reviews, with an average score of 43% for its predictability and repetitive gameplay.

While there are no online trophies to worry about, some of the trophies can be quite challenging. You will need to replay stages multiple times in order to acquire "S" ranks, based on your timing and score. You will also need to collect 91 possible weapons, and upgrade them all.

The 3-star rating is based mainly on overall difficulty and frustration, but also time consumption. Depending on your skills, expect to spend anywhere between 60-80 hours acquiring the Platinum.

You'll first want to play the game from beginning to end, unlocking both story-based and other random trophies along the way. You'll also find weapons, which can later be upgraded. At the end of each quest, you'll receive a rank based on your score in that mission, the highest being "S" rank.

Once you've completed the game, you will need to replay these missions until you've earned an S rank for each one. This is where the difficulty and frustration comes in. If you've found weapons that you like to use, upgrade these so that earning that S rank will be easier.

Once you've earned an S rank for each mission, you will need to mop-up by collecting all the remaining sub-weapons, and upgrading them all. Check out the Clash of the Titans trophy guide links and walkthroughs under our Links tab for further details about sub-weapons and any other trophies you may be missing.

Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a sci-fi first-person shooter, based on the character from the Riddick film series, and a sequel to the 2004 Escape from Butcher Bay, which has been remade and included in the Assault on Dark Athena campaign. The game also includes an online multiplayer mode.

Following the events of Escape from Butcher Bay, Richard B. Riddick and the bounty hunter John who helped him escape, find themselves on a mercenary vessel named the Dark Athena, commanded by Gale Revas. Using stealth to his advantage, Riddick must find a way to free both himself and the other prisoners on-board the vessel.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena received mostly positive reviews, with an average score of 82%, praised for its voice acting and stealth gameplay, though criticized for its poor AI, and received mixed reviews for its multiplayer mode.

The 3-star rating is for two reasons. One, is that playing on Hard mode is no walk in the park, and you will face some pretty frustrating areas. Second, is for the online trophies which, if earning them legitimately, can be a real grind and difficult at times. With a group of 4 boosting partners, the online trophies will certainly prove quicker and easier to unlock, yet still only bringing this rating from a high 3-star to a low 3-star.

If you're playing without boosting partners, expect well over 120 hours of gameplay.

The game is technically two in one, with Escape from Butcher Boy included in the Assault on Dark Athena, which means there are two campaigns to get through. Trophy-wise, it doesn't matter which game you play first. But if you're interested in the story, we recommend obviously starting with Escape from Butcher Bay.

Hard difficulty is available from the start, and so if you're in a rush for that Platinum, we recommend playing on that through both campaigns. Half of the offline trophies are story related, while the others involve either finding collectibles in the form of cigarette packs, and a few other miscellaneous ones. You can reload checkpoints at any time, so technically nothing is missable. However, Ring Fight Champion will require you to take the fighting path towards Abbott. Also, you'll need to unlock the Gabril trophy before you can find the sniper rifle to unlock the Sniper Master trophy. Finally, make sure you complete all the side missions throughout the Butcher Bay campaign in order to unlock the Bell Boy trophy.

Once you've finished all the offline trophies, it's time to head into multiplayer to get those 18 online trophies. If you're planning on boosting, there are a few requirements which need a total of 4 players. However, the majority of them can be done with only one boosting buddy. Check out both the trophy guides under our Links tab to see which trophies require how many players, and the boosting forums if you're in search of a boosting partner. Of course, these trophies can be done legitimately as well, though will require some skills and a whole lot of grinding.

Chaotic Shadow Warriors Trophy Guide

Chaotic: Shadow Warriors

Based on the Chaotic TV series, Chaotic: Shadow Warriors is an action game where players take on the role of Tom, a boy who enters the realm of Perim and searches for the powerful equipment known as Battlegear, which had been stolen by a mysterious group.

The game received an average score of 50% by most gaming magazines, criticized for its repetitiveness and overall diminished fun-factor.

This game requires several online trophies, and due to its unpopularity, it will be difficult to find people to play. This is the reason for the 3-star rating.

However, if you manage to find a boosting buddy, the difficulty of this Platinum can be reduced to a mere 1-star. We've provided a forum in our Links page to search for Chaotic friends.

The online trophies, as long as you find all the collectibles, shouldn't take you less than 10 hours to complete. The offline trophies will take almost half that time.

When playing offline, the game doesn't allow you to go back. No chapter select here. Which means that if you miss any trophies - Battlegear Curator, Mugic Curator, Tribe Collector, No Secret, and Creature Ruler - you'll need to restart all over. If you wish to collect all the offline trophies in one playthrough, make sure you walk through every path in order to collect everything.

As stated earlier, the online trophies are extremely trough without a boosting buddy. Not because the trophies themselves are difficult, but because hardly anyone is playing this game. We recommend getting on the internet and find people to play with. Check out the boosting forums under our Links tab for this.

Champion Jockey G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer Trophy Guide

Champion Jockey G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A horse racing simulator allowing players to breed and train horses before winning in racing competitions. Not particularly difficult once the controls are understood, though the Platinum does require some time.

Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer *** 50 Koei Japan 32 16 1 0 0

Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer

Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer was developed by Koei and initially targeting the same gamble-loving gamers in Japan who play the vast number of pachinko video games, though was exported overseas a few months later. The game is a horse racing simulator.

The player controls a jockey who must breed, train, and win with their horse, competing in real courses such as Meydan Racecourse, Churchill Downs, and Hollywood Park, though have been renamed due to a lack of licensing. Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer includes both online play, as well as the use of the PlayStation Move.

The game received moderate reviews, with an average score of 54% for being original (considering the lack of horse racing games out there) but possessing nothing breathtaking, either.

Once you've figured out all the controls, there's nothing incredibly difficult about this game. The 3-star rating has more to do with time consumption involved, as you'll be training and racing like it's nobody's business. Also, you'll need at least two full playthroughs, restarting your career as a jockey, for each of the two countries - depending on which version of the game you have.

First, just a few pieces of advice. It's possible to play this game with 2 Move controllers, one as the whip and the other to take the reigns. However, we don't recommend this for two reasons. One, is that the long races will leave you incredibly tired holding your arms up. Second, is that learning the controls seems to be the main hurdle in winning races, which could get confusing if you continuously alternate between the DualShock and the Move. So we recommend just sticking with the DualShock, and save your Move controllers for Heavy Rain.

Also, we'd like to point out that while this game does have a multiplayer feature, there are no online trophies. This is a good thing, considering no one is playing this title.

Simply start by selecting either Japan or whichever region game you have, breed your horse, and get through the training. As we mentioned earlier, learning the controls is the biggest part of the game. Once you've mastered them, you shouldn't have too much trouble obtaining that Platinum - just need a lot of time and trial-and-error. As a side note, if you're finished with one country and ready to switch to the second, you will need to start a new game in order to get the Leading Apprentice trophy for that corresponding country.

Unfortunately, due to the unpopularity of this game, there are a few walkthroughs and no trophy guides to help you out. However, we do have a few links which may give you a hand.
