BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend is an updated version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, and ported from the arcade, titled Version 2.0. The game is a 2-D fighting title, and includes two new characters not features in the original Chrono Phantasma: Lambda-11 and Celicia A. Mercury. Chrono Phantasma Extend also includes extra story modes, a new story based on the BlazBlue: Remix Heart manga, and several new scenarios for certain characters.

The original Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma received positive reviews, with an average score of 82%, praised for its fighting mechanics and engaging story.

If you've played any of the BlazBlue titles, then you should have a fairly good idea of its level of difficulty. While arguably easier than Continuum Shift, and more difficult than the original Chrono Phantasma, the majority of the trophies in Chrono Phantasma Extend are relatively simple and will come to you naturally over time. However, performing all the trials for a character can be extremely challenging.

Overall, expect well over 50 hours for the platinum, though it heavily depends on your fighting skills.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 version share the same list as those on the PS3.

Like most fighting games, there's no real order to completing the trophies. However, if you're in need of some direction, and particularly if you're new to the BlazBlue series, we recommend beginning with the Tutorial Mode. Not only will you learn the basics, but you'll unlock the Lesson Is More trophy.

After that, if you'd like more practice with the characters and fighting skills, then head into the Training Mode. Here, you'll not only get practice with some combos, but earn the Impersonal Trainer trophy, as well.

From here, it's pretty much up to you what to work on. There's Story Mode with four trophies for completing the main story, the extended story, the remix heart story, and the additional gag reels. There's clearing the Score Attack mode for the Wunderbar! trophy. And the Abyss Mode to clear, in order to unlock the Six Education trophy.

Perhaps the most difficult and time consuming of the trophies will be Bread And Butter and Frame Advantage, which ultimately requires you to complete all of the challenges in Challenge Mode. We recommend saving this one for later, until your skills are ready.

Also, keep in mind there are 6 online trophies to unlock as well. The difficulty of these completely depends on your skills, and so we recommend saving these for later as well. Unless, of course, you find someone to boost with.

Finally, there are still a number of miscellaneous trophies to unlock. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page to see what you need and how to achieve it.
