Knack 2

Knack 2 is an action-platformer and sequel to the 2013 Knack, released as a launch title for the PlayStation 4. Players control Knack, a being that is able to change its size by incorporating different amounts of Relics to itself. Knack's abilities can be upgraded during the course of the game through collectibles in the form of Relic Energy, as he jumps and punches across different missions, while also solving puzzles. The game also includes a co-op mode.

A villain is reviving ancient weapons and giant titans to conquer the world. Only Knack can save the lands from this evil-doer.

Knack 2 received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 69%, praised for its combat, co-op function, and being an overall improvement over its predecessor, but criticized for its story, presentation, and animation.

Unlike its predecessor, the Platinum for Knack 2 does not require a full playthrough on Very Hard mode. At least one playthrough on Hard mode is required, with some grinding and mopping up using the chapter select. Overall, the Platinum is easier and quicker than the previous installment.

Expect about 16-23 hours, depending on skills and how many playthroughs you choose to do.

There are two ways you can go about getting the Platinum: long and easy, or quick and challenging. If you're going for long and easy, than set your first playthrough on an easier mode. Aside from getting used to the game, you'll also be collecting Crystal Knacks and skills, which will make your second playthrough on Hard mode easier. However, this route will therefore require two playthroughs.

If you prefer the quicker and more challenging, than start your playthrough on Hard mode, which will unlock the It's A Knackout trophy, as well as the Novice Hero Knack and Hero Knack trophies. Hard mode is not too difficult and certainly doable for any average player, even without starting with the upgrades.

Either way, you'll want to focus on collecting the Treasure Chests. There are 100 throughout the game, though you'll only need enough to acquire all the gadgets for The Doctor's Disciple trophy, You will also need to find all the super moves in the form of collectibles, for the Super Move Master trophy.

Next, you'll need to clear one chapter on Very Hard mode for the Sucker For Punishment trophy. Choose a level you remember being the easiest by accessing the mission select under the World Map from the main menu. We found Chapter 6-3 to be the easiest, since it's a short level and you will be in Giant Knack form.

With the story complete, you will have unlocked 8 challenges under Extra Content. You will need to achieve 5 stars in all five of the Time Attack challenges, which will unlock both the Relic Racer and Speed Demon trophies. You will also need to achieve 5 stars in all three Coliseum Attacks for both the Gladiator and King Of The Coliseum trophies. Overall, these challenges can be tricky but are doable with some practice. Check out the videos under our Links tab if you require some assistance.

After that, it's time to get some medals. There are 143 medals in the game, but you only need 70 for the You've Got The Knack trophy. Head to the World Map and begin replaying levels to fulfill whichever challenges you think are easiest in earning medals. These challenge range from completing speed runs, clearing a level with a certain score, or performing certain actions. Check out the Challenge List under our Links tab for more details.

Lastly, it's simply a matter of mopping up whatever trophies you still need to get that Platinum. Be sure to check out the Knack 2 trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you need and their requirements.
