Depending on where you live, the temperatures outside are getting warmer. However, if you’re not yet ready for the coming heat, it might be a good idea to stay indoors and play some games. Sony has you covered for this, and so here is the PlayStation Plus free games June 2026 line-up which will be available for download on Tuesday, June 2.
First, for both the PS4 and PS5, there’s Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, developed by Obsidian Entertainment. Although first released in 2022, PlayStation players had to wait another two years to play this survival crafting game. Players control one of four characters who find themselves shrunk in a backyard, where they must build bases, craft weapons, and fight against various insects, while trying to find a way to grow back to normal.
Next, for the PS5, there’s Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, the first-person action title set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, developed by Fatshark, first released about four years ago. Similar to its predecessor, up to four players can play cooperatively to defeat waves of enemies. Players are able to customize not only their chosen classes, but appearance as well.
Finally, for both the PS4 and PS5, there is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, a crossover fighting game developed by Fair Play Labs and first released two years ago. Players select characters from various Nickelodeon franchises including Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield, SpongeBob SquarePants, Ren & Stimpy, and many others.
Among the three PlayStation Plus free games June 2026 titles, all three of them have platinum trophies to unlock.
The easiest platinum, by far, goes to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. While the game itself is of average difficulty, depending on your 2D fighting skills, the platinum can be unlocked in under 15 hours of gameplay.
Next on the list is Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition. The difficulty of this game is also fairly average, though you can expect around 60 hours of gameplay, depending on how much time you spend exploring and base-building. Although the platinum requires a second playthrough on New Game+, all your bases and equipment will carry over, making the second playthrough a quick run through.
Finally, unlocking the platinum for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide can be a bit of a challenge. Also, since there is a lot of grinding involved, expect well over 100 hours of gameplay for this one.
