Oh My Godheads
Oh My Godheads is a top-down brawler, somewhat similar to the Super Smash Bros series. Players select from a variety of characters based on mythological characters and battle in an arena designed with different international locations in mind. Players can select from five different game modes including Capture the Flag for returning a head back to the goal, King of the Head for holding onto the head for a set amount of time, a deathmatch mode called Headhunters, Last Man Standing where the goal is to be the remaining player, and Trials that include various challenges to complete. The game can be played either single player with bots, or local multiplayer with up to four players.
Oh My Godheads received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 58%, praised for its style, variety in gameplay, and overall fun with local multiplayer, though criticized for its singleplayer and poor AI.
The road to this Platinum is quite short, and the game itself is relatively easy. There are a few trials which may take a number of retries in order to earn a gold emblem, and some trophies which require grinding. Yet overall, the Platinum for Oh My Godheads is quick and not highly skill dependent.
Expect around 6 hours for the Platinum.
The first thing you can do is head into Trials and start working obtaining a Gold Emblem for each. There are a total of 20 trials, and while you only need a bronze to move to the next one, your ultimate goal here should be to get a gold in each for the Ultra Trialist trophy. While a good number of these are quite doable on your first or second try, some trials can be a little tricky and may require a number of replays until you’ve gotten the gold emblem. If you’re having any trouble, check out the trials guides under our Links tab.
On your way to getting all the gold emblems, you will unlock a few trophies automatically, as well a number of others quite naturally.
Next, there are three trophies which require battling against three CPU players. The first is the I Work Alone trophy for winning a perfect score. Then, you’ll need to defeat four CPU enemies in five seconds or less for the Exterminator trophy. And finally, win a match in less than five seconds for the No Color trophy.
Lastly, it’s simply a matter of mopping up the miscellaneous trophies you may still need. We recommend doing this in Trials, as you will need to play a total of 100 trials, win or lose, for the Deadly Mission trophy. Be sure to check out the Oh My Godheads trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what trophies you still need and their requirements.
The only exception to these trophies being done in Trials is the God Favored trophy for winning 500 points. Despite the trophy’s description, this must be done in the Last Man Standing mode in single player.
