Persona 5

Persona 5 is a role-playing game and the sixth installment in the Persona series. Players control a high school student named Joker who, in modern-day Tokyo, interacts with other characters similar to social simulation games, partake in leisure activities, part-time jobs, and craft items for battle. The gameplay also included dungeon crawling where players explore, battle enemies, and solve puzzles. The game uses a turn-based combat system, similar to previous games in the series.

After being falsely charged with assault and expelled from school, Joker is sent to the Shujin Academy, where his Persona powers are awakened. Teaming up with other gifted students, they explore the Metaverse, a supernatural world possessed with manifestations of humanity's subconscious desires.

Persona 5 received positive reviews with an average score of 94%, praised for its style and presentation, engaging characters, interesting story, and hailed by several critics as one of the best role-playing games of all time.

Since the game can be played on Easy mode, the Platinum for Persona 5 is not difficult. However, the amount of time required is what brings this rating to a 3-star. There are quite a few missable trophies which the majority of can be obtained if you follow a guide as you play. After a full playthrough, you'll still need to start a New Game+ to mop up a few remaining trophies. Overall, the Platinum is quite easy but very time consuming.

Expect roughly 100 hours, depending on whether or not you text-skip and if you are able to get all the missable trophies in one and a half playthroughs.

NOTE: The trophies on the PS4 share the same list with those on the PS3.

If you're in a rush for that Platinum, there are two things you can do. One, is to set the game on Safe difficulty, which is the easiest mode. Also, if you don't mind having the story spoiled, follow one of the walkthroughs under our Links tab to unlock most of the missable trophies through one playthrough.

You'll especially want to unlock the A New Journey trophy during this playthrough, which is for viewing the true ending in the game. We won't risk putting any spoilers here, but check out the Persona 5 trophy guide links under our Links tab for details on how to get the true ending.

Also, be sure to make plenty of different saves during your playthrough, so you can always reload and go back if you missed anything important.

By the end of your first playthrough, you should try to get all the trophies, except for the Beyond Rehabilitation, the Mask Collector, and the One Who Rebels Against God trophies. These you'll need to get in your New Game+.

Caroline and Justine are secret, optional bosses who can only be battled with in the New Game+. Defeating them will earn you the Beyond Rehabilitation trophy. Also, only the Satanael Persona can only be accessed in the New Game+, which you'll need to complete the collection of 191 Personas for the Mask Collector, as well as unlock the One Who Rebels Against God trophy.
