Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter is a point-and-click adventure game based on the characters created by Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series, and takes place following the events of the 2014 Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments. Like in the previous installment, players explore and study crime scenes, search for and examine clues, and solve puzzles, in order to connect deductions and arrive at conclusions to solve crimes. The game features five individual cases which include stories of disappearances, murder, and a kidnapping involving Holmes' adoptive daughter.

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 69%, praised for its stories and mystery solving, but criticized for its limited interactions, action sequences which don't seem to fit the game, and technical issues.

If you've played the previous game, Crimes & Punishments, then you should have a good idea of what's involved for the Platinum. Technically, there are no missable trophies, as you can select to replay Cases after completing the story. Though it's quite easy to simply get all the trophies in one playthrough, and easier still if you follow a guide to assist you with the puzzles.

With a guide, the Platinum can easily be earned in roughly 10 hours.

If you plan to unlock the Platinum in one playthrough, then there are two things you should keep in mind. One, is the Lawn Bowls Champion, which is a trophy that can be missed near the start of A Study in Green case, where you need to win a lawn bowling tournament. This can be tricky and may require a couple tries. If it seems you're going to lose the tournament, quit the game and try again. If you continue on with the case without winning the tournament, you'll need to re-select the case after completing the story.

The other thing to keep in mind is to avoid pressing the Tip button. Doing so will cause you to skip parts of the case, which could lock you out of some trophies.

So, as long as you manage to get the Lawn Bowls Champion, and never press the Tip button, just play through the game till the end, and you'll have the Platinum.
