Wailing Heights

Wailing Heights is a point-and-click adventure in a comic book like setting. Similar to other games in the genre, players interact with other characters by engaging in dialogues and selecting both questions and answers, locate items, and solve puzzles in order to progress through the story.

Francis Finkelstein, a songwriter for The Deadbeats, has been invited to a town for the dead, known as Wailing Heights. Unfortunately, Francis is still alive, which poses a problem since the living aren't supposed to enter the town of ghouls and monsters. But with the right song, he may be able to possess the souls around him.

Wailing Heights received lukewarm reviews with an average score of 70%, praised for its music, presentation, and humor, though criticized by some for controls, technical issues, and short gameplay.

Since the game is a point-and-click adventure, all you need to do is follow a walkthrough to collect all the trophies - and the Platinum - in one playthrough. The game itself is quite short, and if using a walkthrough, should only take a couple hours.

Expect only 2-3 hours if following a walkthrough.

Most of the trophies are missable, and there is no chapter select in the game. So if you happen to miss one, you'll need to restart from the beginning. Luckily, the game is not very long.

The game is divided into three Acts. There are also three story-related trophies, which you'll at least earn if you decide to first play through for fun.

However, if you prefer to simply run through and unlock all the trophies in one playthrough, then be sure to follow one of the walkthroughs under our Links tab. In particular, themindisacity has a good 100% trophy walkthrough which is clear and easy to follow.

If by any chance you happen to miss anything, then start a new game to mop-up. Be sure to check out the Wailing Heights trophy guide links under our Links tab for details on anything you still need.
