Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption is a third-person western action game, set in an open world, and a loose sequel to Red Dead Revolver, the 2004 title released for the PS2 and Xbox. Set during the American Frontier in 1911, players can engage in gunfights, explore the vast open world, interact with the environment, and tame and ride horses, and even hijack trains. The game also features online multiplayer with up to 16 players.

The story takes place in 1911 during the end of the American Frontier, where the Wild West is gradually being taken over by such modern technology as automobiles and oil drilling projects. In the fictitious locations of New Austin, West Elizabeth, and Neuvo Paraiso, John Marston is a former outlaw who's been forced by the government to bring members of his old gang to justice after his wife and son are taken hostage.

Red Dead Redemption was both a commercial and critical success, with an average score of 94%, and received numerous Game of the Year awards from such media outlets as GameSpy, GameSpot, and Machinima, praised for its detailed environment, great music and voice acting, and rich gameplay.

While the offline trophies are comparably easier than Grand Theft Auto IV, it's the online trophies which pushed this score to a 4-star difficulty, and requires some serious multiplayer skills. However, if you have a boosting partner, than this difficulty rating can be brought down to a 3-star.

Without a boosting partner, both the offline and online trophies combined will take you well over a hundred hours of gameplay.

Luckily, once you finish the campaign, you'll be able to free roam and collect all the remaining offline trophies. However, you should aim for Spurred To Victory while working through the campaign, which is a hidden trophy that involves completing 20 story missions without switching to a different horse. There are 57 missions in total, but if you happen to complete 38 of them and have been switching horses, then this trophy becomes missable and you'll need to restart. Otherwise, simply enjoy the game to the end.

Once the campaign's finished, you'll want to focus on the Redeemed trophy, which requires a 100% completion stat, much like the Key To The City trophy in Grand Theft Auto IV, though not as time consuming and no pigeons to shoot. Still, there's a lot involved, so check out the Red Dead Redemption trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you need to do. Also, you can sign up on Rockstar's Social Club and link your PSN account, which will from then on track your progress to make sure you haven't left anything out.

After that, it's simply a matter of mopping-up any offline trophies you've missed. Then, it's time to check out the multiplayer. There are 9 online trophies in total, and while a few are either simple or take time racking up XP, there are others that can be extremely difficult on your own. If you're looking for a boosting partner, check out the forums under our Links tab.

Rage Trophy Guide

Rage Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic environment. The Platinum requires both time and skill, as well as some planning to collect the missable trophies.

Rage *** 51 id Software U.S. 38 10 2 2 10

Rage

Rage is a first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic open world, similar to the Borderlands series, with racing gameplay similar to Burnout. The game includes a 2-player co-op split screen, as well as online multiplayer.

The player-character is an Ark Survivor, who was sheltered during an asteroid collision with Earth which destroyed civilization. After awakening and finding the world in a wasteland, he is attacked by bandits, but saved by a wasteland settler who explains that a rising government is searching for the Ark Survivors for unknown purposes.

Rage received positive reviews, with an average score of 81%, praised for its graphics, gun-play action, and overall fun, though criticized by some for its weak story.

This game requires both some skill and quite a bit of time. The Obsessive Compulsive trophy requires completing 100% in the campaign, and this will require some planning due to some collectibles being missable. At least one playthrough on Nightmare difficulty is required. However, the most skill-dependent aspect is completing the mini-games, which can be quite tricky. There are also 2 online trophies, though these don't require much time to unlock.

Overall, a doable Platinum which requires at least 30 hours of playing, depending on how many playthroughs you do.

There are two ways you can go about this. Either do everything you can on Nightmare difficulty, or simply run through Nightmare and mop-up on Easy. The first option is certainly less time consuming, and Nightmare difficulty isn't terribly hard compared to some other games. But doing two playthroughs will allow you to simply focus on completing the game on Nightmare, then worry about all the collectibles and missables on Easy mode, while now being familiar with the game and points of no return. It's time versus ease, so the choice is yours.

Either way, during one of your playthroughs, you will need to find all the collectibles in the game. Some areas will lock-up after leaving, which means if you haven't found all the collectibles by then, you're out of luck. So make sure to follow one of the collectible guides under our Links tab during this playthrough. These areas include Dead City, the Authority Prison, the Well, and Outrigger Settlement. Make sure you find everything you need in these four locations before leaving.

The point of no return is the assault on the Authority Bridge. After that, some side-missions, such as races, are no longer available, which will lock you out of the Obsessive Compulsive trophy. You'll know you're ready when you have 126/130 completed, as there is a card, two jumps, and the mission itself to bring your total to 130.

Once that's all finished, you can head into multiplayer and nab the two online trophies, Fresh Meat and MVP, which requires you to both complete and come in first place in a public Road RAGE match. As long as your skills are up to the challenge, winning the match shouldn't take you too long.

Last are the four co-op related trophies. These you can either do online, or invite a friend to your home, hand him or her a controller, and do them in split-screen.

Racquet Sports Trophy Guide

Racquet Sports Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A collection of different racquet sports including tennis, badminton, and squash, which utilizes the PlayStation Move controller. The offline trophies are difficult due to the controls, while the online are challenging without boosting.

Racquet Sports *** 35 Asobo Studio France 18 11 5 2 0

Racquet Sports

Racquet Sports, known as Racket Sports in North America, is a sports game which utilizes the PlayStation Move controller and PlayStation Eye camera. The game includes five different racquet sports: Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Beach Tennis, and Table Tennis, of which up to 4 players can participate, and 8 players online. Players swing the PlayStation Move controller as they would a real racquet against the ball in each of the five categories.

Racquet Sports received poor reviews, with an average score of 48%. Though it was praised for its graphics and presentation, the game was mainly criticized for its controls and simple, repetitive gameplay.

This is a high 3-star rating, due to two online trophies - one of which requires winning 25 online games, the other needs you to win while your opponent has a score of zero. Not only is this difficult to do legitimately, but the online community is rather dead at this point and so difficult to find anyone to play with.

However, if you have a boosting partner, these two online trophies could be knocked out easily. This still only brings the difficulty rating down to a low 3-star however, as the offline trophies are no piece of cake either, due to both the challenge of aiming and, at times, clumsy controls.

Expect roughly 30 hours for the Platinum if boosting the online trophies, and far more if you're attempting them legitimately.

There's a Career Mode for each of the five racquet sports: Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Beach Tennis, and Table Tennis, and each of these games are divided into Amateur, Professional, and Masters. We recommend starting here, selecting one of the sports and making your way through until you've completed both the Masters as well as their Private Cup, of which you'll need to accept the invitation to during your playthrough. These five sports can be done in any order of your choosing, though we found Tennis and Squash to be the more difficult of the five, so you may wish to save these two for last.

Completing all five Career Modes, their three difficult modes, and winning the Private Cups, will not only unlock their respective trophies, but you should also unlock a few naturally during the course of the Career Mode.

After that, you can move onto the Training Mode. Despite being titled "training," these are quite challenging, which is why we recommend doing this after completing the Career Mode and you've had time to get used to the game and its controls. You'll need to get 10 straight shots in each of the five sports in order to unlock the Winning Streak trophy, which is probably one of the most difficult trophies in the game.

After that, you can head into online play. There are two trophies to unlock here: Have A Tissue Pal for winning an online match while your opponent has a score of zero points, and Playing With The Big Boys for winning 25 online matches. The online community is rather dead at the moment, and getting these two trophies legitimately will be quite difficult. Check out the boosting forums under our Links tab if you're interested in finding a boosting partner.

After all that, simply mop-up any remaining trophies you still need.

Good luck, and be sure to rest your arm from time to time!

Everybody Dance Trophy Guide

Everybody Dance Trophy Guide. Difficulty: n/o  A competitive dance game that utilizes the PlayStation Move controller. Since the servers were closed in early 2016, the three online trophies – and therefore, the Platinum – has become Not Obtainable.

Everybody Dance

Everybody Dance - known as DanceStar Party in Europe - is a competitive dance game which utilizes the PlayStation Move controller. Possessing 40 popular tracks, players can either dance solo or compete/co-op with friends in performing dance routines. The game includes different modes of difficulty, as well as the ability to record and create videos of your dancing moves, which can be uploaded either to an online community or directly to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Overall, the game received an average score of 66% from various online magazines, praised for its originality and presentation, but criticized for its mechanics.

Everybody Dance originally had been a 2-star rating. Unfortunately in February 2016, SCEA decided to close the online servers for all the Everybody Dance games in the series. This title includes 3 online trophies which can no longer be unlocked. As a result, the Platinum for Everybody Dance has become Not Obtainable.

Since the servers were closed in February 2016, the three online trophies - as well as the Platinum - have become Not Obtainable. However, there are still 30 offline trophies that can be unlocked, so if you're interested, then read on.

This isn't one of those games which really requires a roadmap. Just go through the game, dancing to all the songs, and aim for a 5 star score.

You can use the mic on your PS Eye to get the Pitch Perfect trophy, which requires getting a flawless singing rating in 10 performances. However, if you happen to have a microphone lying around, perhaps from having played the Rock Band games, then it's recommended.

The Self Improvement trophy requires you to burn at least 200 calories with dancing each week for a month. If this is difficult due to your schedule, then you can always mess around with the date settings on your PlayStation.

Unfortunately, as it seems to be the case, dancing games on the PlayStation 3 lack popularity. As a result, we haven't been able to find a single trophy guide. Though take our word on the fact that this game doesn't require one, as you're mainly dancing to routines and aiming for 5 star ratings. Here are a few links which you may find useful however, and check out the Advice tab for a few tips.

Power Gig Rise of the Six String Trophy Guide

Power Gig: Rise of the Six String *** 38 Seven45 Studios U.S. 18 16 3 0 0

Power Gig: Rise of the Six String

Power Gig: Rise of the Six String is a music rhythm game similar to the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series, which uses its own unique guitar controller that can also be used as a standalone six-string guitar. The game also works with the AirStrike, a drum controller that utilizes motion sensing.

In Unite the Clans, the story mode of the game, characters belong to a rebel clan known as the RiffRiders, who play music in defiance of the tyrannical Headliner Martin Rothchild, who has banned public performances in the world of Ohm, due to its magical properties.

Power Gig: Rise of the Six Strings received mainly negative reviews, with an average score of 38%, criticized for the poor hit detection on the AirStrike, the clumsy design of the SixString guitar, and mixed reviews on its selection of song titles.

Compared to most Rock Band and Guitar Hero titles, Power Gig isn't as difficult nor time consuming, and there are no online trophies to worry about. However, there are some trophies that will require practice and skills on each of the instruments, as well as several that need friends who are just as proficient in order to unlock some co-op trophies.

Also, it should be noted that, while it's possible to play the game with the Rock Band instruments, you WILL need the official SixString Guitar and AirStrike Drumset for a couple of the trophies.

Expect roughly around 30 hours of gameplay, depending on your skills.

The first thing you'll probably want to do is work through the tutorials. Not only is it helpful for beginners, or if you're getting used to the unique Power Gig instruments, but you'll knock out a couple trophies as well.

After that, select to watch the credits from the extras menu. Once they've all scrolled, you'll unlock the Now Starring trophy.

With that out of the way, you can move onto the story portion of the game: Unite the Clans. Play this solo, in order to work towards the Liberator Of Ohm trophy, otherwise it won't unlock. This can be done on any difficulty, so feel free to stick with Easy if you want. There are a few other trophies related to the United the Clans, so be sure to check out the Power Gig Rise of the Six String trophy guide links under our Links tab.

Once the tutorials and story mode are out of the way, the remaining trophies can be mopped-up in any order. There are a few co-op related ones, some which require only two people, and others that need a full band of four. At some point, you'll need to convince your buddies to come over and help you with those. Otherwise, when you're playing alone, you can focus on the perfectionist and power chords trophies. Again, check out the trophy guides under our Links tab for details on whichever trophies you still need.
