Just Dance 3

Just Dance 3 is a rhythm dance game which uses the PlayStation Move controller and Eye Toy, and is part of the Just Dance series which began on the Nintendo Wii.

Up to four players imitate the on-screen dance moves, in which they're judged on their ability to follow the routines. The game includes over 40 song titles for both solo and duet plays, as well as a Non-Stop Shuffle, Speed Shuffle, and Just Sweat Mode.

Just Dance 3 on the PlayStation 3 received mostly positive reviews, with an average score of 74%, praised for its presentation and various game modes, but criticized for some game mechanics, such as the motion detection and scoring system.

For the most part, trying to earn five stars on all songs for the Constellation Maker trophy is what brings this difficulty rating up to 3-stars. It's not just a question of being an awesome dancer, but having the perfect lighting and some luck with the Eye Toy picking up your movements, as people can have problems with the motion detection.

NOTE: You will need a minimum of 2 Move controllers, as well as two players, for this Platinum.

This isn't really a game which requires a road-map. But if you really need some sort of direction, we recommend working on the Just Sweat mode to rack up those points and work towards the Sweat Me A River trophy. Make sure to set up a 7 Day Workout Session in order to keep track of your Sweat Points. As you work towards earning 30,000 points, you'll be unlocking other trophies as well.

Once that's finished, you can start working on the Constellation Maker trophy, which requires getting 5 stars on every choreography in the Songs tab. This is probably the most difficult trophy in the game, and you may have to mess around with the lighting in your room if the motion detection isn't in your favor. Also, try wearing an outfit that's a different color from whatever's behind you, so the camera can better track you.

If you managed that, then congratulations! The rest is simply mopping-up whatever trophies you're still missing. For the Big Band Theory trophy, it's possible to unlock this with only 2 move controllers, if each player dances two parts, such as to I Was Made For Loving You Baby by KISS.

John Daly’s ProStroke Golf Trophy Guide

John Daly’s ProStroke Golf Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A golfing game featuring PGA Tour golfer John Daly and taking place across 12 licensed courses. While the offline trophies are average in difficulty, the online ones are challenging without boosting.

John Daly’s ProStroke Golf

John Daly's ProStroke Golf is a golfing video game featuring "Long John" PGA Tour professional golfer John Daly. Players create their own player-character, then compete in 12 licenses courses which Daly has played. The game includes commentary by John Daly, compatibility with the PlayStation Move controller, and online multiplayer matches with up to 4 players.

John Daly's ProStroke Golf received fairly negative reviews, with an average score of 59%, praised for its handling with the PlayStation Move controller, but criticized for its bland graphics and presentation.

There are two online trophies, and one of which - Perfect Host - requires you to host and play a four-player game. Considering the age of the title, as well as its unpopularity, the chances of randomly finding three other players is rare, hence the 3-star rating. If you manage to find some boosting partners and get this trophy out of the way, the platinum could be brought down to a high 2-star difficulty.

The majority of the offline trophies aren't too bad. However, the difficulty curve of the courses steepens towards the last few tournaments where, one wrong move, and you've just wasted your time. Frustration could run high, but still doable with enough practice and patience.

Expect around 20 hours of gameplay for the offline trophies, depending on your skill and luck. The two online trophies will depend on your ability to find other players.

First, we'd like to recommend using your regular controller and not the Move when working on the trophies. The precision is much better and will make your life easier.

You can easily knock out the Two's Company trophy off the bat, by selecting Quick Game in the menu and add four players in the slots, then select Match Play. This can be done with one controller.

Next, it's time to get down to business. Select Challenges under Career Mode, and work on beating John Daly in each of the 12 courses. Each match you beat Daly in will not only earn you a trophy, but unlock the match for tournament play. You will also be unlocking several other trophies along the way, and hopefully also a few of the miscellaneous ones as well.

Now that all the tournaments have been unlocked, you can select Tournaments in Career Mode and work on coming in first place in each, earning that tournament's trophy for each.

Now, it's time for the online. There are two trophies to worry about: Predator for winning a game online, and Perfect Host for hosting and playing a 4-player match. Considering both the unpopularity of the game, and the fact it came out back in 2010, it will be difficult and require much waiting to find any online players. It may be possible to find one person for the Predator trophy, but keep in mind that player must stick around until the last hole in order to unlock the trophy. But more likely, you'll need to scout for players for the Perfect Host, so check out the boosting forums under our Links tab.

If you've managed to do that, then all that remains is mopping-up any miscellaneous trophies you may still be missing. Check out the John Daly's ProStroke Golf trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you need.

DJ Hero 2 Trophy Guide

DJ Hero 2 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ****  A music rhythm game and sequel to the 2009 DJ Hero which uses a turntable controller. The Platinum is relatively easier than the previous installment, but still demands some serious skills.

DJ Hero 2

DJ Hero 2 is a music video game and a sequel to the 2009 DJ Hero, which in turn is a spin-off of the Guitar Hero series. Using a turntable, players earn points by accenting beats, adjusting crossfades between songs, and scratching the turntable in time to marks indicated on the screen. The game includes 83 mixes on disc comprising over 100 different songs from 85 different artists, mainly in the hip-hop genre but with additional pop, dance and electronica.

DJ Hero 2 received positive reviews, with an average score of 87%. It is considered a significant improvement in gameplay and presentation to its prequel, as well as praised for the new freestyle feature.

Still not an easy Platinum by any means, but DJ Hero 2 is considered slightly easier in gameplay than the original, requiring less precision with taps and crossfades, making to get five stars on Expert a little easier.

There are, however, 13 online trophies to worry about, one of which is missable. These are extremely difficult to unlock without a boosting partner.

Overall, depending on your skills, you can expect 80-100 hours of gameplay.

NOTE: You will need 2 DJ Hero Turntables, and a microphone for the Platinum.

To begin, there are a few trophies you can earn by calibrating your system, watching the credits, and going through the tutorial.

Once that's finished, you can embark on the main part of the game - Empire Mode. Here is where you will earn the majority of the trophies, with many of them unlocking naturally through your progression.

After that, you can start mopping-up the remaining offline trophies you missed. This may include getting five stars for every song on Expert for the You're The Best trophy, as well as The Magic Number trophy which requires two turntables and a headset.

Last, are the online trophies, which are a long grind. It should be noted that The Bigger They Are trophy is missable, as you're required to beat 10 people who are a higher rank than you. If you're already at rank 50 and you haven't gotten this trophy, then you missed it. Having a boosting partner will help tremendously with these trophies.

Jimmie Johnson’s Anything with an Engine Trophy Guide

Jimmie Johnson’s Anything with an Engine Trophy Guide. Difficulty: ***  A kart racing game featuring NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson. While the offline trophies are average in terms of difficulty, the online ones are tough without finding boosting partners.

Jimmie Johnson’s Anything with an Engine

Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine is a kart-racing video game, similar in style to ModNation Racers or Mario Kart, in which players use weapons to sabotage their opponents. The game features Jimmie Johnson, American NASCAR driver, as both his voice and likeness. Players can race in a Career mode, Single Events, Time Trials, and racing against up to 4 players locally, or 8 players online.

Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine received lukewarm reviews, with an average score of 60%, praised for its humor and amusement, but stated to be overall a mediocre game.

The offline trophies aren't too difficult, and with some practice and patience, all can be unlocked without too much time. However, the 3-star difficulty is due to the 3 online trophies, which in themselves aren't overly challenging, but ever since the release of the game in 2011, we've found the online community to be rather dead. If you have a boosting partner, then this score can be brought down to a 2-star rating.

Overall, expect roughly between 10-15 hours for the offline trophies. The online will depend on your luck connecting with someone, or if you have a boosting partner.

Many trophies require you to complete on All-Star difficulty, which is the hardest difficulty mode in the game. So, rather than having to redo all the races, we recommend simply starting everything on All-Star and just do your best.

We recommend starting with the Time Trials, as this will be a good chance to get familiar with both the controls and the tracks, before embarking on the Career Mode with competition. This will also net you the Speedstar and Sprinter trophies. Again, make sure you're playing on All-Star.

After that, you can start working through the Career mode on All-Star. There are five cups you need to win, with seven events per cup. You don't need to come in 1st place in the first six events, only have the highest points in order to compete in the final event for the cup. After the six events, if you're not in the highest position, then simply replay your worst event to get your score up.

Once you've completed the Career mode and have unlocked the Jimmie Johnson character, you can start on the 3 online trophies. As we said before, the online community is rather dead. If you're having trouble finding people to race against, try one of the boosting forums under our Links tab. Also, make sure you're using the Jimmie Johnson character - and win - to unlock the Advocate trophy.

After that, simply mop-up any other trophies you're still missing, which might include finding all the shortcuts or using certain weapons. Check out the few Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you need.

House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut Trophy Guide

House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut

The House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut is a first-person rail shooter originally released for the Nintendo Wii in 2009, and ported onto the PlayStation 3 as the Extended Cut in 2011 which includes two more levels. The game is the fifth in the House of the Dead series which began in the arcade and later on the Sega Saturn in 1998. Players move the aiming reticle and fire at approaching enemies. Guns can be purchased and upgraded from cash earned between levels. The game allows for up to 4 players on local co-op, is compatible with the Move controller, and includes 3D visuals.

Due to a series of disappearances in a small town in Louisiana, Agent G and Agent Washington are sent to investigate. However, they arrive to a deadly scene of blood-soaked mutant horror.

The original House of the Dead: Overkill on the Nintendo Wii received positive reviews with an average score of 80%, praised for its fast-paced action, grindhouse style violence, and humor.

The 3-star rating is for the challenge involved for some of the trophies, such as achieving S ranks, completing the game on Hardcore mode, and a few others that can be quite frustrating. A lot of trial and error is involved, as you will occasionally need to memorize where to aim and fire your weapon, and when to reload. The Platinum is certainly doable for an average gamer without enough patience, but don't expect a cakewalk with this one.

The Platinum can be earned in roughly 30-40 hours, though this is heavily skill dependent.

NOTE: The Move controller is required for the Yakuza trophy.

Since you'll need to complete Story mode in order to unlock the other modes, this is a good place to start. For the most part, just play and enjoy the game. You'll be unlocking a number of story-related trophies, as well as a few others naturally. Since there is a level-select available, and since you'll be needing a number of playthroughs, don't worry about missing anything. Also, all the collectibles are stackable.

Next, start your second playthrough, this time on Director's Cut. Here, the levels will be longer than those in Story mode. Completing Director's Cut will unlock the Lights, Camera, Headshot! trophy. This is also a chance to start working on the challenges, as well as continue purchasing more guns and upgrading them.

After that, it's time to play through the Director's Cut on Hardcore mode. The difference here, is that the mutants may only be killed with headshots. Completing this will unlock the Extreme Hardcore trophy.

By now you should be pretty familiar with the game and its levels, so it's time for your fourth playthrough, this time on Classic mode without using any continues. This is not an easy feat, but completing this will unlock the Do You Feel Lucky? trophy.

Lastly, it's time to mop-up those remaining trophies. Achieving an S-rank will, unfortunately, still be the hardest part of the game. Just remain patient and keep trying until you get it, even if it means memorizing every pixel in the game. Also, don't forget to play the Minigame mode for the I'll Try Anything Once trophy. Check out the House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you still need and their requirements.

Good luck!
