inFamous: First Light

inFamous: First Light is a third-person action adventure, and a standalone DLC to the 2014 inFamous Second Son. Set in an open world in a fictionalized version of Seattle, players control Abigail "Fetch" Walker - a character introduced in Second Son - who possesses Neon powers, as she completes levels and side missions while defeating enemies in similar fashion to other inFamous titles.

Abigail "Fetch" Walker is a young conduit with Neon powers, currently in Curdun Cay prison under the custody of the department of Unified Protection. The story flashes several years earlier, where Abigail begins to explain the events which led up to her arrest.

inFamous: First Light received generally positive reviews with an average score of 73%, praised for its expansion on the inFamous world and amount of content for a standalone DLC, though criticized by some for its repetitive gameplay and uninspiring missions.

Since inFamous: First Light is a standalone DLC, the game is rather short, and can be played on Easy mode. While a few of the challenges may be tricky at times or even require some grinding, the Platinum is overall completely doable for any average player, and quick to unlock.

Expect roughly 10 hours for the Platinum, depending on skills.

First, simply play through and enjoy the story, as there are no missable trophies to worry about. There are no difficulty-related trophies, so if you wish to make things easier and quicker for yourself, feel free to play on Easy mode. There are a few challenge-related trophies you can unlock now if you want, or get busy collecting the Neon Lumens, but for the most part, just focus on getting through the story and unlocking the four story-related trophies.

With that done, it's time to collect the remaining Neon Lumens to upgrade your player-character, to which there are 72 around the city. This will earn you the Illuminated trophy. You'll also want to destroy all the police drones for the Blackout trophy, complete all the Lumen races for the Lickety Pronto trophy, and complete all the neon graffiti for the That's So Fetch trophy, to fully upgrade your player-character.

Now that Abigail is all strong and powerful, it's time to head to the Challenge Arenas, where you'll need to play through all five and reach 500,000 points in each for their respective trophies. This is arguably the trickiest part of the game, though still quite doable for any average player.

Finally, it's just a matter of mopping-up any remaining trophies. Be sure to check out the inFamous First Light trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're missing and their requirements.

inFamous Second Son

inFamous Second Son is a third-person action-adventure taking place in an open world, and the third installment in the inFamous series. Players control Delsin Rowe, a character possessing super powers, whose fate through the story is determined by the good or evil choices made by the player.

Taking place seven years following the events of inFamous 2, Delsin Rowe is a young graffiti artist who possesses the ability of Power Absorption. He is on the run from the D.U.P., a government agency bent on capturing the remaining Conduits.

inFamous Second Son received positive reviews with an average score of 82%, praised for its impressive visuals and lighting effects, smooth controls, and overall fun.

This is a low 2-star rating, as the game itself is significantly shorter than those in previous installments, as well as easier. Two full playthroughs are required, one of which on Expert difficulty mode - which isn't that hard. Plenty of collectibles and side missions to perform, which are conveniently marked on a map and can be done in free roam.

Overall, expect roughly 15-20 hours for the Platinum trophy.

Since you'll need to do two playthroughs, you may as well start your first one on Easy mode. At first, you can simply play through the story, not worrying about the side-missions or collectibles. However, make sure you select either the good or evil Karma path, and stick with it throughout the game.

After you've completed the story, you'll enter the free roam. Here is where you can find all the collectibles marked on your map, as well as complete any side missions or events you missed during the initial playthrough. Attempt to unlock all the miscellaneous trophies in this step. Be sure to check out the inFamous Second Son trophy guide links under our Links tab to see what you're missing and their requirements.

Finally, it's time to start the second playthrough. Make sure the setting is on Expert difficulty in order to unlock the Unstoppable trophy. Also, be sure to follow the opposite karma path that you took during your first playthrough.

If you've been following this roadmap, then you should have the Platinum after completing the Expert difficulty playthrough.

inFamous 2 Trophy Guide

inFamous 2 Trophy Guide. Difficulty: **  The story of Cole MacGrath, the man with super powers, continues in this third-person action adventure set in an open world. Two playthroughs are required, one on its hardest level, though the Platinum is easier than the previous installment.

inFamous 2

inFamous 2 is an open-world, third-person action platformer with a comic book like style, and a sequel to the 2009 Infamous. Players take control of Cole MacGrath, a bike messenger who possessed electrical super human abilities due to a device known as the Ray Sphere.

Taking place one month following the events of the previous game, Cole travels from Empire City to New Marais in an attempt to find a way to boost his powers, in order to take down the Beast - an entity of unstoppable power that is ravaging through the city, destroying everything in its path.

inFamous 2 received positive reviews, with an average score of 84%, praised for its interesting story, improved graphics, and overall fun with new powers.

While tedious and a little time-consuming having to do two playthroughs, the game is not particularly difficult, and generally considered easier than the prequel. One playthrough on good karma, one on bad, and one of those playthroughs on hard mode. There are 4 online trophies, which consist of editing, posting, and playing player-made missions, which are easy to do.

Overall, expect around 30 hours of gameplay for this Platinum.

Before playing, it should be noted that if you've played and completed the previous Infamous game, you will be awarded certain bonuses in this sequel. These bonuses include starting with 1,000 XP, starting with level 1 good or bad karma, and either one or two energy cores. If your Infamous save is on the same system which you're playing InFamous 2, the game will check for your saved data. In order to acquire these bonuses, you will have to finish the game on any difficulty, have obtained a good or evil trophy, found 25% of the blast shards, or found 50% of the blast shards, respectively.

Otherwise, the road-map is basically the same as that on the prequel. Play through the game, and keep consistent with either following the Good Karma path, or Bad Karma. Many trophies are story related and for completing side missions, while others are for kills and other challenges. Check out the trophy guides in our Links page for what you can unlock during your playthrough. However, it's a good idea to unlock Knockout In The Blackout early, as you will encounter less power down areas during your progress. Also, Return To Sender is another trophy to complete early, before you run out of helicopters.

Once that's completed, you should by now have the vast majority of the trophies. You can start your second playthrough on Hard mode. During this route, you will want to take whichever Karma path you didn't complete the first time. Overall, Hard mode is not that much more difficulty, and considered easier than on the prequel.

inFamous

Infamous is an open-world, third-person action platformer with a comic book like style. Released in 2009, the game's success as since spawned a sequel - released in 2011.

You play as Cole MacGrath, a bike courier in the fictional Empire City. After opening a package under the instructions of an anonymous customer, a Ray Sphere blasts away the surrounding six city blocks. Not only did Cole survive the explosion, but has inherited new powers associated with electricity.

With the city under quarantine, Cole uses his powers to find the Ray Sphere for a government agent and battle an organized crime group called the First Sons. During game play, you will at times be forced to make decisions which add to either your Good or Bad karma. Cole's powers alter and upgrade depending on his karma.

The game received overall positive reviews, with an average rating of 84%, praised for its graphics and fun environment to climb and leap around the city, though criticized for its initial difficulty in the opening of the game, before acquiring useful powers.

This game can be quite time consuming, as well as require some skills. You will need to play through the game at least twice - once as a Good character, and another as Evil - with the setting on Hard mode. Besides defeating enemies with certain powers, you'll also need to find all the "shards" around the city, which can take quite a lot of time.

Overall, definitely an obtainable Platinum, but demands some time and skills.

Since there are trophies linked to each of your "karma" choices, it is impossible to get the Platinum in one playthrough. We recommend starting the game on Easy Mode, and always making Good decisions. Try to acquire all the combat and other miscellaneous trophies, but don't worry about finding all the shards for now.

Once that's finished, it's time to be bad. Select Hard Mode and chose the Evil decisions. This is where finding 100% of the shards will come in handy, as it will boost your experience and powers. Then just focus on completing the story and mopping up any remaining trophies.
